    Is this not regular price?

    • No. Different product and it was 40 cents

So they were 40c? Now 80c?

        • Yep

This is not bargain price. Everyday price

@HolyCr4p: You just said this wasn't regular price? Which one is it?

            • @Herb Utsmellz: It’s the new regular price as distinct from a bargain.

You get a box and individual wrapping for your extra money.

Having said that, Coops1’s saying it’s a different product.

@0jay: Definitely is. I have purchased both.

The original ones seemed better, new ones the material fluffs/pills a lot if your retrieving from your pocket a lot. I wear them for short durations multiple times.

                • @Coops1: Great! More expensive and inferior quality.

Thanks for the review, have to keep an eye out for a good alternative.

                • @Coops1: I've had masks that fluffs/pills a lot from the old batch too, only some to develop this problem strangely enough. Maybe I've been using each too long.

      • I bought some for $0.30 each when I picked up the $12 Wiz led light last week.

  • Bought 10 packs yesterday

  • These are a different mask to the $2 packs from earlier in year.

The ones hook around the ears are a waste of money even at 10c.

      Dude, you're wearing a mask.

I don't try to bite people, but I do like to not breathe in MDF dust; so it's far from a muzzle, thanks.

    • Apart from the pandemic, some of us get out hands dirty occasionally and don't want to breathe crap in.
You sound like you should be in the US south.

      • Even if it were Virus related; I don't understand why anti-maskers are so concerned about temporarily having their ability to BITE people removed.

They're the only people I've heard use 'Muzzle'…

  • Still have a heap of boxes that were 5 for $2. They are OK.

  • They don't make the best seal. Bought a pack the other week for some dusty work and still wound up breathing it in.

KN95 masks are shit, in my experience. Been using 3M Aura P2 masks to sand plaster and painted weatherboards. No noticeable dust inhalation. The seal around the nose and under the chin make a massive difference. IMO, well worth the extra cash.

    • Oh I definitely wouldn't use it as a dust mask. They're just more comfortable than those blue paper masks to avoid fines on public transport. Second the recommendation above for 3M P2 for proper work.

When craftright starts making masks too, I feel like 'masks are forever'.

Wonder how these compare to the $1 ea/5 for $5 at Mitre 10

K95 are pretty bad, not a comfortable or tight fitting. There are still P2 masks available that are slightly more expensive at 98c per mask vs 80c but at least it's Australian standards P2 and Australian made. Only thing is you need to buy bulk vs 5 in store but the delivery is pretty quick (NSW)

Is this early for halloween or something?

It's to stop the population from getting a disease it already regularly gets.

Looks like they've doubled the price to pay for the retail box.

They were 40 cents each when packaged in just plastic.

These were tested by Lloyd Armbrust and failed the KN95 standard that they claim to be, coming in at only 81.9% PFE when the KN95 standard requires 95%+ https://youtu.be/ZRKAvrJJwUg?t=742
