SAPPHIRE PULSE AMD Radeon RX 6600 Gaming Graphics Card 8GB $342 Delivered @ BPC Tech

420

Small discount on a rx6600 which makes it similar to ASRock price if you prefer a Sapphire card instead. Check the reviews, apparently its a compact card that runs somewhat hotter than some other models. As far as I can see, it is the smallest RX6600 so might be of interest for those with an ITX case.

    Prefer 6600 xt at $350

Hoping to see 6600 XT at $350 soon too

Going back through past deals and only found one at that price. Lots at $399 though, not so many deals recently.

That deal was so good, it broke Jimmy77

I was so pissed I missed it, I had been checking OZB daily and I still don't know how I missed it. Now I'm checking like 5 times a day.

        • +1

Only 5 times a day? Them rookie numbers

      • I managed to get this deal, was such a good find haha

    • Picked up a used one for $300. Obviously $349 is probably the better buy to guarantee warranty. It's nice to be able to find value again. Used 2070 supers also seen locally for $300

Everyone keeps pointing to this 6600 xt for $350 as some sort of available standard, but I want to know what planet they’re on. That deal happened precisely once. And lasted less than 12 hours. And half the people got their order cancelled. That price was an anomaly- not some benchmark that all other GPU pricing should be measured against.

With that said, I’m fanging for an rx 6600 xt deal too - need it for an eGPU for an Intel MacBook Pro which won’t work with a normal rx 6600 or an rx 6700.

But from what I can tell, standard normal everyday obtainable pricing for rx 6600 xt is $499, and absolute best price that comes along sometimes it’s $399.

$350 is a pipe dream I fear. But would be super happy to be proven wrong.

I think because it was a relatively recent deal, there's an indication the price is coming down and that price will reoccur.

Also do you actually review games form a dad perspective? Lol I would check out those reviews for sure. Top 5 playlist in the last year?

I believe Sapphire uses actual aluminium/metallic backplates. Not sure about 6600, but the 6600 XT performs really well and built with quality.

  • +5

I think for people to bite these need to be closer to $300 and XT closet to $350 mark

ASUS Dual model is $325 here: https://www.onlinecomputer.com.au/121649 ($12 shipping to metro Melbourne).

    • +1

ASUS Dual model also uses the same full sized 6600XT heat sink&fan assembly

VS this Sapphire one that uses a smaller heat sink&fans vs its larger Sapphire 6600XT version

the two Asus Models are identical but Sapphire kicked in some cost cutting with this one. I guess if you need a smaller card that's handy but its worse in every other way.

      • Don't tell Jimmy that!
I have one of these and yes the best thing about it is the compact size

All the 6600's I've used are fine for cooling and build quality, stuff like metal backplates are just for aesthetics really

Ah yes the high end board of a weaker SKU vs the low end board of the higher SKU argument. I've a soft spot though for high end boards that aren't priced ludicrously.

    • +1

There's no argument. Always go the lowest SKU of the higher end card rather than the higher SKU of the lower end card (which is really almost all profit margin for the vendor anyway).

  • Seems like a good deal, but it's honestly worth $299. At this price it's worth having some patience and get the 6600XT for $349, it's significantly more powerful.

Going more expensive, you should be able to get 12GB or larger.

I have a 6600 XT on NBMiner and its great on energy. Definitely recommend the 6600 XT over the 6600.

  • This is super cheap looks like graphics card market has crashed. Meanwhile I don't like buying cards every generation so I always buy to future proof.

  • Nice; decent option for people to upgrade from a 970

  • So tempted guys. Give me 10 reasons why I shouldn't buy it right now.

Price has dropped to $329 now..
