    • aye, makes this the second cheapest aus stock.

  • Awaiting Stock: Usually ships within 4 days

Prefer to buy it from DSE as they are selling them $747.

Does anyone else find the SG3 is a bit ugly?

Maybe I'll like the SG3 if I see a physical one rather than just images on the net. But I just prefer the look of the SG2 currently.

    • do you ever leave your room? j/k :P

i find it quite odd that people are asking this.. because the SG3 is already in the stores for days… you just need to walk up to a optus shop and have a feel at the real thing.

Lol. The only regular shopping I do is food shopping. I don't hang out at phone stores :)

    • yeah, i find my nexus looks awesome :)

    • Actually it is quite nice, I play with it in Telstra Shop last Saturday, it is not bad at all. Would have bought it if I don't owned a Galaxy Note.

ugly phone migjt as well get the nexus

    • +1

Actually I agree that it is not as visually appealing as the sg2. However, I still want the sg3 more.

    • it isn't the best looking, but it feels good in the hand and its better once you see it for real.

    :O 777

  • think OP missed the previous few posts and commotion.. lol.

in any case, i think JB can price match DSE or even beat it if you are a good negotiator.

    • +1

Each time i ask JB Hi-Fi to price beat they say the price is below cost. :S

  • As above from DSE at this stage is clubhouse leader…

  • If you're in the market for sgs3 you would know dick smith is the cheapest. All the forums, bargain sites etc are talking about this.

  • People on Whirlpool are getting these for $740 @ JB Hifi.

  • Not always is JB Hb-Fi the cheapest. despite their 'Always Cheaper Prices' slogan. When ever i shop around i compare against dick smith, HN, good guys, and OW and tend to find the other stores cheaper.

in this case dicksmith is cheaper. OP should have done their research.

  • Dick Smith is cheaper, and I suggest to wait anyway, because at current prices SGS3 is overpriced and you get better value from the One X. Great phone, but dont rush in.

  • woah people are just posting up any price they find for this thing…

Not the cheapest and not a bargain at this price

I'd rather get the HTC One X, wait, I've already got one :) sexier phone, same specs, cheaper …

    • HTC one x only has the upper hand in the display. In every other aspect it falls short.

      • I would prefer an AMOLED screen over an LCD screen. But that is subjective. Everything else the SGS III is better.

      • why dont you compare the screen side by side first. then you say it wins on display.

    • ^this
also raw denim + htc one X don't mix

  • Anyone know the price from Harvey Norman? They list it as too hot to post

    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/homepage/samsung-galaxy-s-iiiā€¦

    • i'm guessing that HVN will never be a price leader

    • Price is different per store and at managers discretion

  • at my local harvey norman the price is $899

    • +1

That is bloody hot - me no touch with barge pole!

  • The 32 Gig isn't available anywhere yet is that right?

    JB, you've done it again!

Yep, tried to rip us off again! DSE +1

    • How is it a rip off if they have a price match policy :/

      • how is it a price match policy if they keep saying its below cost price and dont price match

        • Well, I agree in that case then. But someone mentioned that a lot of people have been able to get it for around the $740 mark, which is reasonable.

  • Millennius are selling these for around $740 too.

  • Anyone know if JB will be stocking the One X? The mobile phone section of their site seems to be a bit off at the moment. Only showing up with a handful of phones, and the majority are really old Nokia models :/
