    OP it seems all your posts show a misleading product photo, happy to be proven incorrect. Does this product come with the solar panel or not?

    Payment system seems a bit weird. Going through Paypal it processes payment and send me a receipt. It then prompted to go through Paypal a second time. Since I'd already received a receipt for first payment I didn't continue with a second one. The website seems to think the order is unpaid (invoice ID 22081016453239)

    I bought one of these, it's very slow, loud and could barely open our blinds. Only worked on a small 1.5m wide blind, didn't work on any others and just got stuck or skipped teeth (comes with different cogs, none worked).

    Bought this too. bad support. zigbee hub is difficult to work. Also the remote that came with it does not even communicate to the roller.

    I like the technology of this but too many features - none that works for normal/savvy users.

    Mine basically acts like a motorised curtain i have to press manually instead of the supposedly IR remote or wireless etc.

    I've got two of these and work fine for my needs. Occasionally on sale for around $50-60 and includes solar panel at no extra cost.

    Have one controlling tall vertical blinds for a sliding balcony door which uses a thin nylon cord to open/close. The other one on a standard window with vertical blinds controlling the beaded rotation cord.

    As long as you can identify the correct cog and mount the motor with enough tension on the cord then it should work fine.

      I had one of those, it worked well enough. The backing sticker it came with though, that sumbitch was strong! When I moved out from that house I ended up leaving it there because I couldn't get it off the sticker.

      Edit: that listing you linked doesn't mention anything about the solar panel.

      Does the aliexpress one have a built in battery so I don't have to run any wires?

      I want one of these for my main two block out blinds with sliding doors behind so they raise at sunrise and lower at sunset each day..

        Yes it does. But even though it has solar panel I think the motor still needs a proper charge every few months
