Been posted a few times, I've been watching for price drops.

It's a very cheap, IPS, 60hz good, basic business level monitor. I demo'd one at JB Hifi and thought the picture looked pretty decent.
This isn't for gaming, this is a nice home display, with a free camera and will power your WFH laptop at up to 75W

Note, I don't own one but it seems well regarded.
Not the lowest price ever, has been $60 cheaper, full disclosure.

Interesting sidenote: camelcamelcamel hasn't tracked the most recent super cheap price drop, they missed it somehow.

EDIT:

One more thing, if you do own one and want to provide feedback, be appreciated. Fairly sure I want one but like to hear more, particularly about image quality in corners and whites of the display. I've always been an Ultrasharp guy, since the 2405

  • Same price @ JBHIFI COSTCO everywhere

    • I been monitoring those 2 as well, Costco was $559 went back to $599 last I checked. JBHifi was also $559, refused to price match Amazon for me (since it had expired) and has it reset to $650 for last 2 weeks.

Wait, just checked, you're right JB has now discounted to same price, they're damn quick.
      https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/lenovo-l32p-30-31-5-ultra…

      So worth considering.

      • Good spec though.
I think it was there yesterday when I visited Sydney CBD JBhifi. Didn't really check out Lenovo coz I think they are not strong in monitor? (Maybe wrong) ,i was there mainly for Samsung M70B with better price( ow P Match).

        • From what I saw in person the picture was nice.
I have the high end Dell 32" and it is particularly clean image, the corners of the display produce no shimmer / wash out at angles. The lenovo did but it was extremely mild. (nothing like a TN panel at all, it is after all IPS)

Could've been the fluro lighting at JB Hifi too, I mean I was demoing in a showroom during lunch for 10 minutes.

  • Bought the Dell 4K 27" with speakers for $280 last year.

I would buy this when its $400

    • +1

Is that an IPS though? That's a big size difference.
There's only 1 other IPS 32" in this price range, to my knowledge, it too, doesn't get lower than $500 I think?

Truth be told, despite posting it here, I will not buy until $500 again, I'm an OzBargainer, I refuse to buy when I know it's been cheaper.
(on that note, does JB Hifi match Amazon?)

      • +1

that Dell 4K 27" is IPS.
        But 2 x 32" IPS would be a sweet upgrade to my 2 x 27".
And JB do price match Amazon.

        • I have a $500 JB Card I got for $450.

Next time Amazon drops to $500 for this monit,r I'll get JB to match and I'm golden.

          Thanks.

        • Could you daisy chain those two monitors? I have a Dell 27" with USB-C, but that doesn't support daisy chaining.

        Check it out

  • Can the type c port be used as both power and display port at the same time?

    • Yes, that's how I tested. 75W delivery (so I read)

  • +2

For bedroom basic home office and probably more for streaming movies can anyone give feedback on visual and audio performance for this monitor? Or would the Samsung M7 be a better option for watching movies with its remote and above average speakers?

    • As I said I don't own one, but I would HIGHLY suspect the speakers to be quite basic. I can't see audio being great on it.

    • This depends how close you're sitting and how big you like your pixels and clarity.

    • +2

      I prefer 2 4k ones

      • +1

        Same here only if….

        • Well if it drops to $500 again, that's only $1k for 2.

I mean I paid $1100 for my 30" Dell long long ago.

      • +1

        I'd prefer 4000 2 pixel monitors

Struggling to find the difference between the Lenovo L32p-30 ($559) and ThinkVision P32p-20 ($950).

They look to be same monitor except the P32p has a KVM switch, extra USB C ports and an adjustable stand. Does that justify the price differential?

    • I've had the same "wtf is the difference" questions - and I just don't know.

I ended up buying one today after all (long story) so now I can compare it to the top end 32" business 60hz display, the Dell U3223QE. I'll update the thread if it competes with a $1300 monitor or not.

      • I am very interested to hear this as I've been looking at the Dell U3223QE as well.

        • The Dell is slightly better and I mean very, slightly better. The Lenovo is definitely great.

Let me put it this way, if I could rewind about 4 months and just buy 2x Lenovo instead? I would. I've still got a 4 port USB hub, I've got USB-C power delivery, I've got an IPS flat screen display.

I don't actually like the Dell stand that much (though the Lenovo is worse, for height adjust - but it's monitor arm mounted)

Free webcam, crappy speakers (but hey, speakers)

The Lenovo is absoloutely competing for only $560 (cost me about $500 with my gift cards)
