  • Great deals.

    • +3

Great experience with Memory City before,
prompt response and quick shipping. + from me.

  • Pardon my ignorance, but what's the difference between the 16GB Class 4 and the 'High Speed Edition'?

Class 4 have a read/write speed of 4MB/s, but I'm not sure what the 'high speed' ones are? The pictures look different (ie the have a "4" or "H" stamped on them).

    • +3

      Hi syba,

Class 4 has min speed of 4mb/s up to 15mb/s
The high speed edition ones are equivalent to class 6, which has min speed of 6mb/s up to possibly 30mb/s

      Cheers

  • Bought one of these last time (the 16GB). It's working well.

This seller should be banned…makes me spend too much :)

+1. I dont need any more memory cards but cannot resist the price…

      Ban the OP

  • Was waiting for this. Thanks!

  • Do all cards come with a SD adapter?

    • +8

Yes they all come in SD adapter

      • Really can't resist this deal now…

  • Any upcoming deals for SanDisk 16GB Ultra Class 10 SDHC? :D

    • +4

      Hi,

We are normally selling at $24.95, the price showing $17.95 is the promotional price.
Grab them if you are after any Class 10 SDHC.

      Cheers

  • Thanks, my second order this month :)

  • thx rep.

    buying one. (16GB microSDHC class 6/h) http://www.memorycity.com.au/sandisk/136-sandisk-16gb-micros…

has anyone got some statistics? how fast do they fair?

  • I bought 2 16gb micro sd cards last time, and one of them doesnt work and cant be formatted and says theres only 30.6mb of available space-> order number 3209

    • Hi luke1,

I will get back to you via email.

      Cheers

    • Sound like partitioning issue.

      • Already checked with disk management and its only a total of 30.6mb raw

  • SanDisk 16GB microSDHC High Speed Edition and Class 10 micro SDHC, which one is better? Please help me with me.

    • Hi,

Check your device if it could support Class 10, a lot of device don't take 64GB capacity / Class 10 models.
If your device could hold, then Class 10 is better.

      Cheers

  • +1

Thanks for adding the MicroSDXC 64GB

I have ordered it - just so you know, the price you show above is a couple of dollars less than what is on the website.

    • Hi,

      Thanks for pointing out.

      Cheers

  • Is this the best 32 GB card I can get for an s3?

    http://www.memorycity.com.au/sandisk/140-sandisk-32gb-mobile…

    Thanks

    • Hi,

Yes that is the best micro SD range of 32GB.
Samsung Galaxy S3 memory could be expandable to 64GB, so 64GB is working on S3.

      Cheers

Is that one a 32GB microSDHC Class 10?

Description says SDXC, so I'm not sure if it'll work with a Samsung Galaxy S II.

    Thanks.

    • +1

      Hi,

It will work on S3, even the 64GB will work.
The 32GB ones are SDHC not SDXC, description should say SDHC.

      Cheers

      • how about galaxy tab 7.0 plus?
        does it support class 10?

    • +1

WorkAround - the 64GB cards work on S2 and 32GB will also work on S2.

Read this for details about S2 and S3 support of 64GB cards:

      http://www.androidnz.net/2011/09/sandisk-64gb-micro-sdxc-car…

      I got the 64 :)

      • Thanks for clearing that up. Will be ordering one soon. :)

      • I have a 64 sdxc class 10. Runs sweet. Sg2 will format before use - look in settings. They say 16/32gb in ads because that was all that was available. Apparently will go to 2Tb - when it exists!

  • there are 2 prices for the 64gb Micro SD. 1 is at 89.95 and the other is at 74.80. any difference?

    • Hi,

The $89.95 is the Class 6, which is a card that SanDisk is not producing anymore.
The $74.80 is the Class 10 model, just got released not so long ago and it's under promotion price.
We usually sell them between $85-$100

      Cheers

      • So I place the order on the cheaper one? Thanks.

        • That's the right one under special.

          Cheers

        • Faster card for less money versus Slower card for more money.

  • Thanks! Just needed a 16GB Micro SDHC for my new tablet.

    Keep the deals coming :)

  • hi francesca2148

Just wondering, are these in stock in Sydney, or shipped from overseas to Sydney upon order, then re-posted via AusPost?

      Hi,

We have them in Sydney now, ready to ship out in the next 24hours.

      Cheers

  • Awesome, just ordered one 16GB High Speed edition.

  • Dammit just bought a 32gb from shoppingsquare. Awesome deal and bought another 2 16gb cards. Thanks

  • Good card. I buy one.

  • i cant find 16GB Class 10 micro SDHC? and does it work on galaxy tab 7.0 pls?
please show me the link if u can, thanks.

    • Hi,

It is on our homepage under Featured Products.
      www.memorycity.com.au

I am checking if it works on Galaxy Tab 7.0

      Cheers

    • It should support up to 32GB.
Class doesn't matter (unless you have none!)

    • Hi,

I checked that Samsung Class 10 microSD would work on Galaxy Tab 7.0 so i believe SanDisk ones would work too.
It can only be expandable to 32GB, so a 64GB micro SD won't work.

      Cheers

  • Please forgive my ignorance. Could anyone kindly explain what is the difference between the "High speed Edition" and the "Mobile Ultra" edition ?? I was hoping to get a 16GB microSD but the two prices are so different. Thanks loads in advance.

    • +1

      Hi,

The high speed edition ones are equivalent to class 6, which has min speed of 6mb/s up to possibly 30mb/s
SanDisk is not releasing any of the Mobile Ultra Class 6, so Class 10 will be the Mobile Ultra standard.
      Hope that helps.

      Cheers

      • However, on your website the Mobile Ultra ones say class 6 upto 30mb/s? So you are saying the old "Mobile Ultras" will become High speed edition and the new "Mobile Ultras" will be class 10? Thanks loads in advance. Kind regards.

        • +1

          Hi,

Yes, they are both up to 30mb/s (Class 6 and Class 10)
The old mobile ultra class 6 will be phased out and replaced by the high speed edition (so far there's only 8GB/16GB available)
SanDisk will put their focus on Class 10 competing with Samsung, Kingston, and other brands.

          Cheers

  • Can anyone recommend a tiny awesome and cheap microsd USB reader to go on my keyring?

  • Good deal!

  • Bought one last time and using it with Micro SD to "Memory Stick Dual 2 Slot Adapter". Works perfectly on PSP. Gonna buy another 16GB card to include total memory to 32GB. 32GB MS duo pro for 22 bucks, gotta be happy with that !

    • Hi, can you let me know where you bought your adapter? I got one but when I popped it into my PSP it says memory stick not inserted =(

      • Ebay, it's a white one with 2 microSD slots. Try formating the memory stick in the PSP.

        • Haha I got mine from a US seller on Ebay who claimed it's genuine. Which seller did you get it from? Would appreciate a link if possible!

          Thanks!

        • Search for "Photofast adapter"

  • D***, 10c cheaper than the last time. :)

I bought one the last deal and am very happy. Great price and excellent service from rep. Pity I can only give one +.

  • Got one of the 16GB cards last time, works great, ordered 2 more today. Thanks OP.

  • Thanks. Really good price. I wanna buy a 16 GB

  • Not needing a microSD card right now but still giving the dealer a positive rating due to previous dealing with them. Very speedy and responsive dealer, not to mention good deal too.

  • What advantages does Class 6 have over Class 4? I mean, yes, faster, but if I put it in an Android phone (HTC Sensation XE), will anything be noticeable?

    • Prolly not, it really only benefits cameras that shoot video.

  • grabbed one Sandisk ultra 16GB, thanks… hopefully will be arrived before weekend.

  • +1

Thanks…I needed another one….(last one purchased - my son lost it) :(

  • Bought an HTC Explorer a couple of days ago and this looks like good memory for it! Perfect timing.
    Bought the 16 GB

  • the photos look totally different to the 1s on the official website yet ppl still buy them.
guess fake or not.. it'll work anyway

edit: high speed edition? sandisk dont even produce them

    • +1

      Hi syl,

Fyi, SanDisk would not update their official website with the new model released due to a few issue.
1- The old models could be still under production, maybe last few batch or so.
2- There are too many stock of the old models in the market, before they get those out of their way they wouldn't update their official website with new models.

If you do want to know if the card is genuine from SanDisk & produced by them, get a $5.80 8GB "high speed" card and run a speed test. Feel free to contact local SanDisk support to verify if they recognize these new models (1 800 262 504).
I sourced my products from a local sandisk supplier that has been dealing directly with SanDisk HQ for years, if i really do sell fakes i would have got reported in the past 3 months of trading. Almost up to 10K pcs of just SanDisk memory cards off my room since our launch in March.

I named it after high speed edition, you would not be able to search much result online but when you contact SanDisk tell them it's the "Class H" model that just released 2 months back, they should know.

      Cheers

  • Thanks OP, ordered a few for some ebook readers I've got coming.

  • Just ordered a 16gb high speed edition microSD for my S3 (which should be arriving tomorrow or the day after), if I'm happy with the service and product (hopefully in retail packaging) then I will be getting a 32gb or 64gb ultra microSD :)

    • From memory, the 16GB high speed edition aren't in retail packaging. The performance of it is more like a 6X. Bought items from MemoryCity before, all good.

      • I suppose as long as it works then that's the main thing and for that price I shouldn't be complaining if it isn't in retail packaging but if I was going to spend the money on a 32gb or 64gb ultra I would expect that to be in retaill packaging

        • Hi KaiKat,

All the 32gb and 64gb comes in original sandisk retail packaging.

          Cheers

  • I'm looking to see the official product info for the "high speed edition" from sandisk.
Can someone post a link please?
Is this just a rebadged product or an original sandisk product

    • Hu benjiross,

This is an original sandisk product, they produced this new model mainly for mobile/smartphone vendors.
That is why it comes in a plastic packaging instead of retail packaging.

      Cheers

I don't need one, I don't even want one … but I'm still tempted to buy!!

  • bought another one… >:D

feel free to combine my cards into one packaging :O

  • LoL also in the "I don't need one but these look like i might/should/would/could use them in the future" so there goes the paypal

  • Once again genuinely great prices by a fast efficient company - some of the other larger online vendors could take a leaf out of their book

  • which one for samsung note?

    • Any HC card but people are reporting even 64GB XC cards work.

    • Hi,

I believe anything selling above, even tho the spec for Note says up to 32GB maximum but a lot of users reported online that 64GB would work.

      This one here:-
      http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1846055

      Cheers

      • +1

yes,i can vouch that, the 64g works right away on my SGN after a simple formatting

  • Hi Francesca. I have sent you a couple of e-mails over the last few days regarding the 32 gig cards you had a few weeks ago. Do you have any of those ones for $20.00 still? Oh and the customer service is great OzBargainers. I have bought a few of these from Francesca over the last few weeks and the service and speed has been just amazing. Wish all on-line dealers were that good.
    Sharon

    • Hi Sharon,

What are you after, is that the Class 4 micro SD 32GB ones?

      Cheers

      • Hi im after the same. 32 gb of any class will do. They dont make a difference on a mobile anyway. Thanks

        • +1

          Hi,
