It be nice to use spell instead of keypad.

    • Black marker on top of the numbers, or a label maker?

  • Meross opener with homelink app?

  • Anyone know if this will work with other brands such as Centurion? They have the other Merlin remotes on their website just not this one.

  • Thank you. Grabbed one.

  • Thanks OP.
I don't know they have this. Last month i bought spare remote for $50.

  • I've got this exact model, love it.

Just think carefully before choosing mounting position. I've seen others put it plan as day next to the garage door and clearly visible from the street, when I walk past their house on a walk.

I have mine near the front door, but hidden behind one of the pylons to the front entry, facing away from the street.
You don't want it clearly visible from the front of the house so anyone can a) see you entering your code, or b) see that there's a keypad at all!

Half the battle to theft is the temptation/opportunity that's easily seen.

Be discreet when you use it, and be aware of your surroundings like you would at an ATM.

Programming is pretty straight forward too. For $40 it's worth it for the convenience of not carrying keys when taking dog for a walk or in an emergency. I've hidden a spare set of entry keys in the garage, so I know if I ever need to get in the house without keys I can.
