      These are cobbled together from new and old parts, my guess is CPU, mobo and GPU are most likely to be old parts

        That's incorrect. All those parts are brand new. We conservatively placed a blanket store warranty of 6 months to cover the power supply which is the only part that's not new.

              Another ozbargain thing is admin can see the product being unfairly slandered and do nothing about it. Keep having to repeat to all the trolls that this is a brand new system except the power supply. Yet you get ozbargainers drawing their own conclusions that we're using a mined gpu???

                @coathanger007: I still don't think it's as clear as you say. There is no indication on your website what is new and what is used. If you did happen to supply a used GPU, as a consumer you would have no comeback.

                It also raises the question do you get full warranty on the new parts?

                  @iamherenow: If unclear simply ask the question first. False assumptions shouldn't be made that the gpu is ex mined and every other component is used. For clarity the only part that is not new is the power supply. Though we have treated this as being 'used' it has been sitting on the shelf unused past the manufacturer's warranty period. However, because we know the power supplies have been idle we're comfortable covering that with store warranty.
                  Yes you will get full warranty on new parts.

                  Now the post has been edited to clarify that the PC is brand new except the power supply all other comments and downvotes assuming the opposite without any basis should be deleted.

    Hence the 6 month warranty.

    To be honest I'd be worried about getting an ex-mining GPU, and if I was spending this much on a complete system I'd prefer all new parts.

    This is effectively refurbished/secondhand, they just aren't calling it that.

      No this is a brand new gpu NOT an ex mined gpu. As stated above the core components being cpu, mobo, ram and gpu are brand new.
