      Not cheap.

      • left a +ve with HOPE*, found out NOT CHEAP ! lol

    • +2

Sorry - have added prices now.

checked many of the items, none of then are cheaper than similar products from Asus, Acer, brother. What kind of sale is this?

    • +4

Mainly for the monitors, as the 2410 and 2412 are excellent IPS monitors for photography.

    • +6

If you have a DVI connection, the u2412m is an excellent monitor. Saying that Asus/Acer is cheaper doesn't cut it because there is a quality difference. Might as well say Kogan tv's are cheaper than Samsung tv's, but they're no where near as good.

The higher end Asus ones are the only ones better, but there are even higher end Dell monitors.

  • +4

Still waiting for that 23" IPS screen to be $189 again.

  • +1

Nothing special at all about this.

  • no sale for U2711 & U3011

  • +2

Well, I went to Dell to purchase a U2412M, so I saved $120…

    That's 3 bottles of Jim Beam…

    • +4

      or 12 casks of goon…

      • +6

        or 60 whoppers with fries

        • +5

          Or 400 Soft Serves

  • +5

Dell UltraSharp U2412M has been $279 since at least last September. Great budget IPS monitor, but was expecting a bit more saving for a EOFY sale.

Or maybe something bigger is coming up?

    • +1

I'll agree with you on that one, this deal has been up so many times!! Come'on dell

    • +1

Exactly! Every single time on sale, it has been $279. You'd think it would get cheaper over time.

  • +4

Yeah the U2412M really needs to have a further drop in price to attract more buys….not good enough for an EOFY sale.

  • What is the upgrade lifecycle of dell monitors?

Surely there should be a replacement model to the 2412M coming up?

  • using an U2412M right now, happy.

  • better still.. the outlet has some pretty decent deals..

    http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/topics/segtopic.aspx/product…

    There's a refurb 2711 for $478 or a 3011 for $868

  • How does the U2412M compare to the U2412? I've only used the U2412 model, which I was very impressed with.

  • +1

Nothing special about these prices so Im going to have to neg it.

    • Im going to have to agree. Dell are just being knobs and milking the prices.

    • -1

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

  • +2

U2412M $279 = standard pricing… it's been this price at least 3 times over the past few months and it's the price every sales rep gives every day of the year. Why not just make it the normal price already and provide a real discount :\

    • So based on this comment, every time Woolworths/Coles reduce the price of coke, it is not on special? The regular price is $399. Sure, every couple of months/month, it goes on special for a 48 hr period, but that does not detract from the fact that the other 696 hours it is $120 more….

      • "every couple of months it goes on special"

Like I said, the sales reps give this price every day of the year, making your argument a little weak.

And for the record, I only consider the price of coke on special to be <63c/can.

This comment helped me make up my mind on this monitor. Because you can get this price just by asking, I have postponed my purchase till either a) it becomes cheaper than $279 or b) i have my tax return.
