They only have a couple of routes, but are expanding - eg Queenstown from Nov 1, and more of NZ after that, plus Bali, Fiji and more, I gather.
It's not just their own flights but also code shares by other airlines e.g. Singapore with a VA flight code.

They were literally offering double status credits the whole first half of the year….

It was 100% extra in economy and 45% extra in Business. I flew MEL-CNS via OOL return in Business to retain my gold for another year.
Yea took advantage of that with a few work flights, but my status rolled over in April so back to needing 400 new credits.
Have another 3 or 4 work flights to book so holding out for another similar promo
