  • I got $110 spend

  • This is a targeted offer. Did not receive this offer or anything similar.

  • I did not get this part

Yeh and get to wait 45 mins for them to bring it out just so i can save $5

    • I didn't either. I did last time, and did 3 of the 4 shops online, so perhaps that's why they didn't offer it this time.

In the last week, I've had 3 separate offers to spend $30 and get 1200 points, and I did all, so I'm surprised they gave me 4x$50 again this time.

      • Do the $30 on a friday and activate saturdays and you usually get both

        • I try and do that, work permitting.
Often they have a Wednesday change over.
Shop on Tuesday, for the Wednesday activation too

    • Does your local offer online. I didn’t get that part of the deal either but my regular coles doesn’t do online or delivery so maybe that is why.

    • I didn't either.

  • I have had a really poor recent experience with Coles not fulfilling crediting FlyBuys points that were eligible (as recognised by Helpline staff).
So I am going a neg

    • I email them 100% success rate.

    • +2

Coles don't issue the flybuys points, it is flybuys and apparently they're two different entities. I have had really positive results reaching out to the flybuys Facebook page to get missing points credited (usually from LL promotions).

However, I do agree that Coles customer support is trash and I spent two weeks trying to get a refund for an undersupplied item. After many emails, Facebook messages, phone calls, and even a handwritten letter to their head office, they issued me with a credit for the item as a "refund isn't possible" . Best believe that I wasn't going to shop online there any time soon, so quoted ACL and stated that refunds need to be issued to the same payment method, which was CC, and was quickly called and the refund was manually processed. Coles online is years behind woolworths imo

      • +1

        This!

Coles online is years behind woolworths imo

    • Best neg any loyalty Pacific and nab/Citibank deals on that basis too…

  • $210 again… Gross

  • I got this a month or so ago but never got weeks 2-4 so could never get the points

    • +3

Many, if not all, of my multi-week offers so far has only ever appeared in the app after I’ve completed the shop for that week.
I, instead, check the note near the bottom of my receipt, something along the line of “Congrats, just 2 more weeks to go…”

  • +1

15th August, 9am. Recieved email saying my missing 10k points will be credited within 48 hrs. (4 x $50 spend each week)

    Still haven't received

Never received and unlikely to ever receive the 6000 points from the Coles Plus offer of 6000 points for 3 online spends over $50.

FlyBuys has been a disappointment lately

    • What did flybuys say when you called them?

      • -1

Forget trying to call FlyBuys. Have emailed. Have tried the calling saga before. Not going through all that again.
They replied emailed back that I would have the points within 48hrs…end of the week now and still no points.

The bonus 6000 points they keep saying to wait 7 weeks. This is from a deal from many months ago!!

        • In my experience emailing gets you nowhere. Calling experience is probably second only to Centrelink in terms of pain, but at least they fix it while on the phone (or have for me).

Forgot to scan my flybuys card once as well and just brought receipt to service counter with my flybuys, points went on later that day. Was very glad I didn't have to call because that is not a joyous time.

        • +1

facebook messenger usually works well… probably takes a week between replies but have been credited every time for missing points.

    • I also chase up for 6000 points for Coles plus offer. It took ages (over 1 and half months).

  • +1

    Got 1 account spend $50
    1 for spend $100
    1 didnt get it

Been getting spend $30 spends recently and picking up a double lot of points each time

    • Been getting spend $30 spends recently and picking up a double lot of points each time

Same here. However, as soon as I activate the $50 spend offer I know FB will stop sending me the $30 spend offers after Week 1.

Can people please stop posting their individual, targeted, personalised offers? They're specifically for you and your card, what's the point of putting stuff on OzB that noone is able to use except you?

    • +5

I find it semi useful as a reminder to check the app on a Friday when offers come out 👍

Some accounts got the 1000 online bonus, others spend more/save more for 20k points

    • +5

these offers are for most of the users so its a reminder to check your app

    • +1

It's good to see what offers others get as in what is possible and what I may need to do to receive similar.

  • +1

Got this offer but not a fan. Preferred the 1200 for $30 roll I’ve been on as I pop in a grab small quantities on my way home from work. It’s definitely doable but I don’t like the idea of being committed to $50/week in one shop for 4 weeks.

  • +1

    Same deal again. You beauty

  • Can you pay for online shops with Coles gift cards yet?

    • +3

No. And this is so ridiculous given its near end of 2022.
It's unlikely they're going to implement it either, as Coles takes an authorisation on your card or PayPal when you place the order and then only charges your card when you pick it up.
There's some wording I read in the website about discrepancies with things like fruit and veg and meat/deli etc that needs to be weighed to get the final price when you collevt

      • +2

Wow their IT is so far behind Woolies.

        • -1

Woolies tech, by far, is the worst I can tell. Considering offer doesn't apply properly and serious security issue.

      • The only thing you can do is get a Flypay account to use your FB points online and/or Hiver which with a 5% discount is better than most Coles GCs.

  • I just got my offer come in my email just now.
    4 x $80 each week for 10k

I've never spent anything near $80 at Cole's. And only just made the recent 4 x $50 spend that I'm still waiting on last lot of points from.
    ($52.60, $51.80, $53, $51 etc)
I try to ALWAYS get as close as possible to the required amount.

This time, they've bumped it up to $80 for the same 4 x spends each week. (I've always been a $50 targeted offer)

    No deal Coles.

    • +3

The spend amount usually depends on what you normally spend. So you usually spend $50, so they entice you to spend $80. Those getting $140/150 probably usually spend $120 and so on.

  • +4

4x $50 here. Trick is not to swipe your fb with them for few weeks

    • +1

or open a new account or 2.

    • What happens if you use the same credit card for payment? I thought they might link your credit card number to your fb

      • People have expressed concern that this can happen but have never seen it reported. Some use different CC for different accounts. Also, you can use Coles GC and write on the card which accounts it's being used for. I have 7 accounts and have not been perfect 100% of the time but have had no issues. People may genuinely share a CC or GC eg couples, house mates. It's a good idea not to keep large balances of points in case they freeze your account and you lose them.

  • Surprised to receive $50x4 again considering I just completed it not even 2 weeks ago and also used the 1200 bonus points for $30 spend in the last week

  • 10000 + 4000 Bonus (if the shops are completed online) for $190 shops over here

    • If you got more accounts you could work toward getting the same bonus for $50 spend and then complete 2 or 3 offers each week. So if you wanted to spend say $150 per week you could get up to 42,000 points.

  • Just posted a deal that you can get double the rewards if you spend and extra $50 from your normal spend but got deleted.

It might not apply to everyone but make sure you check your flybuys to see what you can get.

  • i have drastically reduced the amount of stuff i buy in coles/woollies the price hikes r crazy.

    • +1

It helps if you get 40% off each week.

  • My partners accounts has stopped getting offers - not sure why that is?
    Any one have same issue?

    • I have received fewer offers just in the last week after I purchased the Coles Mastercard. The spend amount has not changed so far through.

  • +1

Received this 10k for $50 spend for 4 weeks.

Woolies Targeted offer is 6K for 3 x $40 spend.
But get 2k for $40 spend per week, each of 3 weeks. Don't have to spend in each week. A less risky offer with same points per $ spent.

  • I got a 4x$60 for 10000 points, email. Have done the first one last night. But be careful, the next week for me does not start until after the 29th Aug, thats one long week.

  • -1

    10000 for $50 by 4 weeks.

Received yet again despite scanning Flybyes on $1600 of Apple cards a week or so back.

    Urban myth disproved once again.

  • Is it possible to buy Coles gift cards to make up the required purchase ??..
    Cheers..

    • No, they do not count.

  • I was not aware of this current offer (I usually get them in emails and in app), until I spent over $50 yesterday and had message on my receipt: "CONGRATULATIONS Just 3 more weeks to go!" It also says in order to be eligible for the following weeks I will need to activate the offer by 28/08. How can I do this when there is nothing showing in my app, or on website account page? I have triple checked my emails and I did not receive anything.

  • Does this include alcohol purchases from coles online?

  • I have activated the spend $50 for 4 weeks offer and am now on week 2, but Flybuys keep sending get 1,200 points for a $30 spend offers as well.
Does anyone know if I activate the 1,200 points deals it cancels the 10,000 points deal, or do you also get the 1,200 points and they count it as a separate offer?

    • +1

      Separate offers, they stack

    • Did you qualify in wk 1 ie. was your spend $50 or more? Usually any other offers stop once they know you are doing one of these 4-week ones. But if you get them yes they do stack.

      • +1

Yes I spent over $50 in week 1….I've had lots of these 1,200 points offers over the last 12 months but never activated them for fear of jeopardising the main 10,000 points or $50 free promo. If only I'd asked before if these stack, probably lost another 12,000pts damn it!

        • +1

If you do not ask you will not know.

          • @Yola: Que sera
I've tried phoning Flybuys 3 times over the months but gave up after being on hold for 20++ mins

            • +1

@alidli: True, better to ask here.

  • The offer has disappeared from my Flybuys (Activated Offers). It was definitely activated - my receipt for the first week says congratulations, only 3 weeks to go.

I can see a lot of hassle ahead trying to get them to honour this. Stupidly didn't take screenshot this time. Might just bail.

    • +1

I believe that's normal. You will be fine. If you really end up needing proof, won't the receipt work in place of screenshots?

    • +1

Same here. I finished week 4 yesterday and only got the normal 50+ point, no bonus. My receipt also didn’t say congratulations, etc, but I did first 3 weeks online and only last one in-store, so not sure which week was deemed failing. Never had any issue previously and usually got the bonus at the same time as week 4 points. Sigh, have to chase them now for bonus

  • Offer has also disappeared from flybys app would previously let you know when you are into your next shopping week..
    Not happpy..

    • +3

Yeah, it's disconcerting. Why can't they do the same as Woolies:

      https://imgur.com/a/R4HfjIN

Said it before and I'll say it again, Coles IT is miles behind. Bonus points take ages to add, can't use egift online, can't store egift in the app and use at the checkout etc.

      • +1

        Coles IT is miles behind

That being the case, my FB points / dollars are still less likely to be hacked/stolen than my EDR points.

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/651164

        • This is true. Actually, never heard of it happening. Only expiring when people were not aware that is in the T&C's.

    • Yep same, have transactions in the app showing the criteria has been met but the offer is gone from app and the direct link to the offer still only shows week 1 complete.
Previously has tracked and updated pretty quickly (within a few days).

  • we have two purchases on 5/9/22 monday wk3 shops on both different flybuys accounts and both transactions is still not reflected on the transaction list as now

    • Yeah me too, bought groceries yesterday and said I completed week 3 on the receipt but checked now that it has not been reflected on the flybuys app.
