That would be unlimited very narrow range of non alcoholic drinks. Don’t expect sodas or juices.

    • What else would there be, other than water?

and comes with free virus! lol

Ozcrusing were terrible during Covid pandemic..never answered any emails..shut down their phones..delayed refunds for months even after the cruise lines processed the refunds.

I would NEVER deal with them again.

I had the same issue… was chasing them for 12+ months for a refund. They went quiet, closed their office, disconnected their phones. Cruise line confirmed they had refunded them the money but Ozcruising was using the money as a slush fund. Did eventually get the money back but never again with this bunch of scammers !

Nice, finally — a clear cause of the Reef's destruction and your accommodation in the same place! Efficient!

  • Cheapest I see on link is $774.

    • Twin $665 is sold out, now Quad is $672

So if me and partner join, they will put us with another 2 strangers in one room?

        • No, you need to book for all 4 occupants.
For you and your partner I recommend: Oceanview Stateroom (Obstructed) $788pp it's nicer than the interior room.

If you paid me 5k to go on the cruise I wouldn’t go.
It’s not a bargain. You’ll get more than you bargained for.
Even cruise workers don’t want to work on this cruise

    • what's the reason?

      • -1

        Genuine question or bait?

        • +1

genuine question. yes COVID, yes off season…why would even crew not want to work on this particular cruise?

      • -1

        It’s p and o

    • +4

I'd definitely go for $5k, are you offering?

    • +3

Also happy to go for $5k. Where do I sign up?

The booze add on should be mandatory.I feel like it’d be a holiday where you cruise down to the bbq restaurant in your Made by Ugg Australian uggs to go have a meal supplied by Sutton forest meats.

  • We are apparently heading into another rainy El Nina so count me out.

TLDR; My 2 cents - I loved cruising pre-covid and couldn’t wait to go back on one. We (family of 4) went on one of the first ones from Sydney to Whitsundays on this same ship with P&O - I am happy to say first hand that we had a great time. The staff was amazing, safety precautions were handled well, we were all required to submit proofs of vaccination and had to take a RAT test 24 hrs prior to boarding, they were handing out masks outside every common closed space venues, sanitising stations at almost every corner. Each to their own though.
This seems like a good price, I haven’t personally booked via OzCruising so can’t comment.
We went in early July when Sydney had a massive rain storm, so we also did get a few rough days on the sea, misses struggled a bit on those couple days, but rest of us were all good.
At the end, for anyone wanting to go, go with a positive attitude and you will have a good time.

I assume no longer need to be part of the expriment to be cruising (jabbed)

    • +2

You still need to be vaccinated or have a medical exemption, capped at 5% total cruise population (passengers and crew) and that includes your under 5s who can't be vaccinated.

Otherwise not getting into arguments, just stating the facts.

    • +1

They still want everyone jabbed. They still haven't accepted the fact that being jabbed doesn't protect you from getting sick and from spreading the virus.

  • Charter fishing for respiratory disease.

  • hmm… did anyone actually book besides me?

I booked for my in-laws and have not received any contact other than the initial booking number. Was surprised they haven't asked for payment?

    Is this normal?

    • NVM… figured it out. You can log into the Ozcruise website and manage the payment and details from there
