Got this in my email today for the Headspace Meditation App.

Tough classes. Messy roommates. Busy schedules. Students have a lot on their plates, but Headspace is here to help you balance it all with a very special student offer.

Need to go through a verification process which includes logging in to your school's web portal. I was able to renew my one and only long-time account which was unsubscribed since Feb 2022 (I'm a returning customer).

    wasted 20 minutes of my life going through all the hoops for it to say I wasn't eligible as is only for new customers

      I had an account but I didn't renew it. Wasn't subscribed since last Christmas I think, until now that I subscribed to the student discount today. I'm a current Holmesglen TAFE student.

        I should have just used my uni email and as a new account. Did you use a different email and account? Maybe put in the title to let people know to not use a previous account. Will try again in a day or two. Cheers

          Basically, I renewed my one and only account with the student discount after being unsubscribed for a few months and waiting for a discount.

          And I logged into my Holmesglen web portal redirected by Headspace, to log in to Holmesglen TAFE I had to use my Holmesglen email and password. Before that, I logged into the Headspace discount page with my normal unsubscribed account to go through the verification process.

          I'm not a new customer bro. I'd say it only took me 2 minutes to verify and finalise payment.

    Meh, I'd highly recommend everyone to support the Australian app SmilingMind not to be confused with this headspace app. They are a non-profit org. and the apps been through many iterations to look like how it is now so it's an enormous effort.
    Headspace seems to be getting desperate in getting customers.

    I've been using the calm app, I think I paid $85 last year for the annual subscription which I remember thinking was definitely worth it for 25 cents a day. The meditation courses have been very useful and "drifting off with gratitude" puts me in an absolute coma every night!

    Didn't work for me as a new user, I just got the error message:

    User HSUSER_<long string of letters and numbers> cannot subscribe to STUDENTL. This promotion is for new and eligible members. Your membership is set to renew on August 23, 2022.

    Didn't even get to the stage of any verification of student status.

    Waiting for the Calm Lifetime membership to be available again at a discount. And the Turkish lira has become sooooo cheap, it would work out to be about forty something dollars for the lifetime membership now.

      I lean more towards Headspace for their animations and daily videos. The only daily video on daily I see is the Move with Mel.

    Just signed up with my Uni email. Advertised as $9.99 … but was charged at $15.36. Guessing it was advertised as USD.
