Cheapest according to the camels. They have been a little wonky lately so I'm not 100% sure if this is the cheapest. Had a quick look through OzBargain's history and can't really find too many instances of this particular set. All the deals I can see are a couple of years old or so and more expensive than this set.

  • X line vs v line?

  • 22 drill bits, 3 spade bits, 34 screwdriver bits, countersink and magnetic bit holder.

  • Thanks OP. Ordered a set. Hope it's better than my Ryobi.

    91 piece V-Line set is $35.83. What's the difference between X & V lines?

    • +1

This one goes to around $21 during flash sale

      • The V-Line one?

        • Yeah

          • @Ehty: It has more drill bits, which I'm after. Am tempted, even at $35…

      • +1

Correct, I’ve bought this at $21

    • +2

One's case has an 'X' shape and the other a 'V'

      • I see it now. No difference in quality?

  • +12

These are poor quality drill bits ,bought this set last year ,a few bits broke after a couple of times use.

    • +5

And find it difficult to remove bits and place them back!

    • +3

I 100% agree. These are basically single use drill bits. I too bought them last year.

    • Yes, I' surprised they don't have a subscribe and save option on these!

  • Single use ideal

  • +2

Reading bad reviews on Amazon, 2 minutes later all sold.

    • +1

The 91 bit one is still avail at a few $ more.

      • +1

        103 piece is $80 now.
If you bought everything in Suttons brand it'd be much more. But it would last.

  • +1

Got one $21 last month, thought it made in Germany as listed, but things inside look so cheap when I open and turn out it made in you-know-them.
Did not expect much at that price anw.

  • +2

I’ve had this set for 21 years lol! Received a reasonable amount of use. Any drill bits that snap or get blunt I just replace with higher quality ones. Very handy. I think the quality overall is fine.

    • +2

The logic of having something to meet even a single use need but a single storage place for all your bits always appeals to me.

Sure, over time you will replace certain frequent use bits, but you will always be able to find them always neatly stored in one place.

      • +1

        Exactly Chiang.

Did the case plastic hinges last? Those little plastic pins look like they would break very easily. That's my pet peeve with these things. I'm planning to get a set of steel cases for my gear in the future.

      • +1

No they’re still good lol. It’s interesting how the design is completely unchanged over all these years.

  • I’ve gotten these cheap Bosch sets before and the bits are quite soft. Bosch make good sets but this isn’t one of them.

  • 91 pieces for $35 is a good value too?

Deal of the day: Bosch 91-Piece V-Line Titanium Drill Bit and Screwdriver Bit Set with Ratcheting Screwdriver (For Wood, Masonry, and Metal) https://amzn.asia/d/aPAw6Gc

  • Why don't they make more drill sets with multiple drills the same size? I always blunt or lose one of the common size drills I need and then I have to go buy individuals or another set. Does everyone have this problem?

    • +2

Yes you can buy same size packs at Bunnings, for example…. Sutton Tools 2.0mm Metric HSS Jobber Drill Bit - 10 Pack

  • Ordered last night and it arrived this morning! Fast!

  • Can't recommend this set. Bits break easily. Low quality.
