Heat sink looks nicer on the WD Black :) and the WD Black heatsink version was "always super expensive. even vs the Samsung heatsink version

Yes. But an external drive was all I needed. I only play one or two games at a time so space is normally never an issue for me.

Yes, though you may want to update it's firmware via a PC to get the best speeds out of it before you put it into PS5.

Why would you want to buy an SSD that needs a heatsink over one that doesn't? I presume it's about speed, bit it can't be of much importance these days, the CPU and RAM are now important for that.
