It is the MK 2 version. $198 shipped if you click where it says "New (5)" and add the From Amazon UK option and can wait longer for delivery.

I don't think this thing is cheap to begin with, but might be helpful to someone who needs one now.

  • I just checked Mk1 model via UK it was about $175. If someone is looking for cheaper

    • Do you know what the differences are?

I don't think it can be much different when they look very similar.

      • +1

Yes. Mk1 comes with adjustable rack(plastic) but the body is made of metal.

Mk2 has a single body with plastic front cover (this is why I chose mk1)

And Mk2 has detachable usb port but not detachable from the rack. Still mk2 I think better than mk1.

function wise they are 100% same.

        • At first I thought they were very similar with both stand design, but now I see it on the 3rd picture yes MK 2 is all one piece.

With the old Mk 1 though looks like you can take it off and have it flat on the desk if you wanted it which makes more sense to me if you press the buttons when it's 45 degrees with the rack the stream deck might slide back when you press a button.

I think the detachable cable on MK 2 is only important if you travel and carry around the stream deck with you. If you keep it permanently on your desk from the time you buy it then I think permanent cable of MK 1 is fine.

Actually I just checked other images, the JB HiFi image for the White MK 2 model shows it can be removed and placed flat on the desk as well.

          • @harshbdmmaster718: Also, when cable is detachable when you organize cables it's easier. (Mk2 better)

The adjustable plastic rack, I don't think people would use that. BUT the body is detachable from rack. (Mk1 a bit better for this but not really. Most people wouldn't need the rack I guess.)

I'm not 100% sure if mk2 body is detachable or not. (I only have mk1 atm) Just watched on YT video.

            • @javawoo: "The adjustable plastic rack, "

MK 2 rack is one plastic single piece so non adjustable.

"I'm not 100% sure if mk2 body is detachable or not."

It looks like it is, checkout the JB HiFi image I linked in comment above.

              • @harshbdmmaster718: I think you're right. Sorry for the wrong information.

                • @javawoo: It's ok. I am just learning all these differences between MK 1 and MK 2 myself.

                  • @harshbdmmaster718: ah one more thing MK 2 has better chip in it. So, it's slightly faster when you change the folder on stream deck.

But Mk1 is still fast enough I think. And before changing the LCD button screens it works first so no delay on actual works.

                  • @harshbdmmaster718: mate I have question btw. are you able to see my content? I posted stream deck 32 key model but it seems like not visible to other people.

                    • @javawoo: Yes I can see it no problem. If you think it might not be getting enough positive votes. Usually on ozbargain users don't like expensive things.
To be honest I am surprised this post has gotten 10 votes already, but again it is a bit cheaper.

  • +4

DAE ever read ‘stream deck’ and read it as ‘STEAM DECK’ and get excited for a second :’)

    • I mentioned it in the post, but thanks for the link.

  • Great for MS Flight Simulator

  • Hmm that reminds me I don't use mine anymore and should sell it. It was fairly handy but I ended up preferring to use keyboard shortcuts and not use the extra desk space (trying to be fairly minimal).

    The white looks lovely though.

    • I think the white will get dirty over time..

      • Anything white is easy to get dirty. And to put it a step further, white plastic in particular if it is cheaply made can "yellow" with time from exposure to sunlight.
