  • What do you recommend? Keen to try. I only drink espresso coffee?

    • +2

Enterprise is my choice. Tried Sumatra, but it seems a bit weak for me.

      • i like sumatra myself because the higher roasts can be a bit burnt flavour.

As a tip, for light roasts like sumatra, make sure to use as high pressure as possible (for espresso), and turn the heat up too (i have it at 95c). Lower heat or less pressure makes the coffee more sour.

Probably the best coffee I've tried on here, and honestly the best customer service and the bonus stuff you offer is fantastic for people wanting to try new things. Always an upvote even when I'm not in need of new beans.

    • Thank you so much qv - we really appreciate your feedback and super appreciative that you are sharing.

      Kind Regards

    • Any suggestions?

      • +1

Saratoga is probably my favourite but Enterprise is probably the safe bet :)

  • I love a flat white but on the stronger side. Chocolate, dark fruits.. suggestions?

    • +2

Hey there Schikitar - In recommend you try the Stargazer Blend.

      I hope that helps.
      Cheers
      Dan

      • +1 for stargazer.
I wanted same taste as well and tried Stargazer. Loving it so far.

Gonna try Saratoga next then decide main one.

Enterprise is balanced so good for start.
Sumatra is good but little bitter for me.

Airjo never disappoint me. Thanks Dan!

  • Any pourover recommendations?

    • Hi kevinnn - our lighter roasts like Sumatra or Twilight are very popular with pour over brewers.

      I hope that helps.
      Cheers
      Dan

  • I drink cappuccino. So looking for a recommendation for nothing too strong?

    • -8

I would recommend the Italian blend from Sicilia. Use THANKS10 or CHEERS10 to get 10% discount. https://www.siciliacoffee.com.au/

    • Hi eatcroissants….You could try our Pegasus or Saratoga Blends - not too dark and not too light :)
These could be what you are after.

      I hope that helps
      Cheers
      Dan

  • I'll give a kg of Enterprise a go, cheers Dan!

    • Great choice greencomet!
Thanks for your order - we appreciate it.

      Cheers
      Dan

    • Methinks you don't like our mate Dan…

      • I just don’t like his coffee, and I believe there are much better and cheaper alternatives.

      • +3

Nothing against AIRJO but I appreciate all reasonable opinions and suggestions. I don't think people should be downvoted for suggesting cheaper/better/different alternatives (subjective) - even on a popular thread. Shouldn't people be able to share a different opinion?

  • As someone who enjoys a latte and doesn’t drink too strong coffee, which blend should I choose?

    • Hey there Harry!
You could try our Pegasus or Saratoga Blends.
Super keen to hear if they are what you are looking for if you do try.

      Thanks for asking.
      Cheers
      Dan

  • Excellent! Enterprise was great last time

    • Great to hear Lunchguy - thanks for sharing!!

  • Thank you! Any updates on having a new decaf blend? Last I heard you guys were testing out a new blend. If not I'll just order the OG decaf as that's now my preferred blend.

      Not yet Fotato.
Looking like early October. Thanks for asking.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • Hi Dan. I usually order the Sumatra blend but keen to try some other blend. Prefer a strong full bodied coffee with dash of milk. Can you recommend? Thanks

    • Hey there stockastics - I would recommend yiou grab some Enterprise Blend.
Keen then to hear how they compare for you.

      Thanks for asking.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • How does one keep beans fresh?

I'm the only coffee drinker in the house so make a max of 10 a week so a kilo lasts ages, other than order 500grams

What's the shelf life for a bag?

    • +1

      Hey there d0nkey.
The beans are at there best in the first few weeks if stored well.
We recommend you keep them in our resealable bags ands store them in a cool, dry cupboard or other place away from sunlight.

      I hope that helps.

      Cheers
      Dan

    • Pour 500G out in to a container, reseal and freeze the rest.

    • I use a cheap vacuum sealer, freeze in batches that last you a week. Reseal bags do okay.
Defrost by leaving out at room temp for a day. I only do Mokapot & aeropress though, others might know better with machine extraction.

      • What's your fav beans for the aeropress?

        • I've tried Ethiopian, Airjo Sumatra and a couple of Limeblue blends.
I'm still learning so I wouldn't presume to know what's best but I try to get a medium grind on any strong-flavoured variety.

          What about you?

          • @Sonnyjimbo: I prefer the darker roasts so Stargazer is probs my fav

  • Thanks Airjo, Just ordered another 1kg. Enterprise is my go to, one day I will be more adventurist and try another blend :)

  • Great timing, thanks op

  • This stuff makes Aldi beans taste like dirt.

    • That's how good they are, as the old aldi beans are not terrible

      • Did Aldi change their beans?

  • What's your recommendation doing cold drip that I then make into an iced latte or espresso martini?

  • Gave the enterprise blend a shot, previously only tried the Sumatra a few times and customer service has always been fantastic.

  • -1

Ordered the Sumatra last week and arrived very quickly. Love the lighter medium roast in my morning flat whites. Excited to try the other blends, just need to get through this first kilo :)

  • Milk coffee, E61, 18g Stargazer -> 45g shot @ 26s + 250ml full cream milk…. these are my morning dreams

  • +2

Very ordinary beans, not sure what the fuss is about unless ozb is comparing to Aldi beans or something… Tried a second blend to make sure, and still ordinary. The ziplock broke on both orders as well.

    • +2

I agree, after two pretty average prdera of beans, I stopped with Airjo and stick with Lime Blue.
Girlfriend recently needed beans and ordered the Airjo, thinking (hoping) for some improvement. She made me a coffee and I was like whoah, what the hell are you using…that's tasteless.
Showed me the Airjo bag, roasted in August. I sniffed the bag, nothing. I shoved two beans up my nostrils, still couldn't smell anything. She wasn't impressed.
That's the second pretty bad bag she's had and won't order any more. I kept asking her to complain and you know, some people put up with mediocre and below average. This is proven by her putting up with me obviously.
She said she threw away half the first bag from her first order, this is the second. Really disappointing.
She's recently ordered the Lime Blue. I'm hoping it's as good as all the orders I've had from Lime Blue. I seriously don't know what the fuss is with Airjo, that's 4 separate orders, two different people, different dispatches. All have been a failure. First one, well, maybe a bad batch and everyone deserves a second chance. Second bag, and that's not an accident.

  • Ordered enterprise.

  • Thanks, first Airjo purchase for me, the Sumatra.
    Let's see :)

  • +1

Best blend for the long black and espresso drinker ?

    • +3

I too would like to know

      • Was about to ask the same thing.

        I am leaning towards stargazer.

        • hmm i was leaning towards Enterprise

  • Might be a strange question but which one has a similar taste to campos that you have in cafe? I usually drink an almond latte.

How long can these be stored for unopened? Patiently waiting for the breville dual boiler to come on sale but no luck yet…!

  • Damn, bought Pegasus blend only a day before this popped up.. I quite like that blend over Sumatra and Enterprise.

    • +1

You can get the difference refunded. Read the original post.

  • 3kg ordered :)

  • +1

    Thanks OP!
Do you plan to offer 250g packs? I realise that for such orders people would need to pay for shipping. It would help people decide which blend they prefer.

  • Have tried Enterprise and Twilight, going to check out Pegasus this round and see how we go. Using a Philips 4300 LatteGo.

  • No!!!!! I missed out on this deal!!!

    • +1

Same here! I wished I had ordered yesterday!

    • Don't worry; they post these offers weekly or fortnightly at most :D

  • Nooo! Ordered the whole bean instead of filter grind! Anyone on the goldie wannauy my kilo of enterprise?
