Android 10 - easy to use for me. No problems loading or logging in.
Signed up to new account easily yesterday - before reading comment code works with old accounts.
Have used Mad Mex app for years without a problem. Mainly for the free food.
I just update the app regularly. Latest update 28/8/22.@INFIDEL: Hmm interesting quite a lot of people have left reviews stating that the app crashes on login. I was able to register as a new user and claim the free burrito but am not able to login using my old account. The app just crashes on clicking login. I am on Android 11 btw.

A few 1* are complaining because their phones are too old for the app!
Have had no problem logging into old account.
I had heaps of issues logging in. Never got it to work. They don't let you do it on their website anymore either :(

It worked when I used all caps.
Force close and reopen the app. Then enter the code and it should work. Did for me.

Airport food and prices are a stitch up, better off going to HJ and using the app / vouchers (it take your own food).

The voucher is now in the rewards history with the expired date of yesterday. My best guess is that they have deactivated the vouchers yesterday.

It's common enough for me not to be surprised. Usually the owner points to my meal, points to my benefactor, and indicates it's paid.
I remind myself - for the person paying, this is a special occasion. So thank them as nicely as possible.
Realised they are surprised to see a Foreigner enjoying their local dishes in their favourite place. Sometimes they suggest dishes I might like, or how to eat the unusual food. A great way to meet & eat.
I repay the favour on my travels, taking homeless for meals, giving out clothes on cold nights, volunteering in poor villages, etc.
Before that, set up & ran a free food service here & served free cooked lunches.So free food is normal for me😊
