Price drop is possibly due to the new Basilisk v3 Pro being released last month.
More likely the V3 wired which could be had for ~$70 and has been out for a while now. The new Basilisk V3 Pro is a $280 mouse, I don't think that'll have any impact on any of the older wired mice.
Good mouse, bought at Amazon $45. Better with Amazon instead of Kogan for easy refund etc.
The V3 is also very nice, needed to update razer synapse manually though to the V3 version
