I heard ROMOSS is better brand. 50W for $54 on Amazon.
    https://www.amazon.com.au/ROMOSS-20000mAh-Portable-Compatibl…

  • This looks pretty good.

  • I do love those exterbal battery packs!

Woah! Scroll down and look at the guy carrying the battery pack. I think he has elephantiasis or something! his hand is HUGEEEE!

  • When you damage the orange included cable, do you need to throw away the whole battery pack?

    • +1

I don't see a single orange cable in any of the pictures?

EDIT: oh you're talking about the product link in description

product description says input from type c or type c cable

    • Yeah wondering the same thing.

  • Hows eBay warranty for this ?
I'm waiting for amazon to stock this item.

    • +1

Pay with PayPal for extra protection.
Otherwise, under Item Specifics it says "Manufacturer Warranty: 3 Years". Not sure what pain that process entails though, and how good/bad Baseus support is.

  • Does this fast charge s22 ultra?

  • +5

The 30000mAh unit is only another $7 more with same discount code - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/313648965957

    • Cannot add to cart, look like sold out already?

      • +1

eBay is glitchy, worked after a few attempts

        • Thanks both, ordered the 30000mAh one, after few attempt.

      • Definitely sold out now.

        • They're randomly adding more. They put it back in stock, right after I bought the 20,000mAh one…

Edit: Multiple ebay stores, so some might have luck here baseus_official_au the other one is baseus_officialstore_au which is nice and confusing

    • Careful as anything above 20000mAh will not be allowed in some countries to be carried in an aircraft.

      • The limit is 100Wh, which equates to around 27000mAh

        • +2

yes, 30000mAh will therefore be not allowed.

You own a 10000mAh/20000mAh Power Bank will look like this:

          10000mAh/1000 x 3.7V = 37Wh
          20000mAh/1000 x 3.7V = 74Wh

As it’s under 100Wh, you can bring it with you on the airplane.

What if we tried 30000mAh Power Bank:

          30000mAh/1000 x 3.7V = 111Wh

          • +1

@skinny: I am saying you are wrong in saying anything above 20000mAh will not be allowed. It should be 27000mAh. Also, you need airline approval, it is not straight-out rejection.

Not sure what you are trying to prove with your calculations.

            • @CodeXD: I am taking from my experience - 2000mAh is the number they said was the limit at the airport.

The limit is 100Wh(tsa.gov), which equates to around 27000mAh

you are referencing from tsa.gov that has no relevance to other countries.

              • +1

@skinny: Then it doesn't help anyone unless you mention which country it was lol

                • @CodeXD: Beijing

if it is a 5.1V at 2000 it would exceed the magical 100Wh that you mentioned as the limit.

                  • +1

                    @skinny: 5.1V at 2000 what? lol

China airlines guideline allows ≦100Wh/2g lithium

Just admit you are wrong about 20000mAh lol or are you going to start listing every country now?

                    • @CodeXD: if it is a 5V battery, at 2000mAh it would exceed the magical 100Wh that you mentioned as the limit.

                      • +1

@skinny: So you are saying you replied to a comment for [email protected], with a comment about 20000mAh@5V but just happen to omitted that detail?

                        Sure.

I'm done with this thread ahaha

      • +1

If you intend to carry multiple power banks I would check with the airline before flying as I had a friend with 5x1000mAh batteries who was only able bring 2 onboard and had to leave 3 behind.

  • +1

How long would this keep an average laptop on?

    • +2

there is no 'average' laptop, would be easier if you provided make/model. Some laptop battery will still slowly drain the battery even with 65W others might not.

      • -3

typical work laptop dell latitudes… would it last a day?

        • +1

I'm guessing you're being down voted as its still a bit too vague. Screen size/resolution, whether you have a gpu/not, cpu type e.c.t so many things will affect it. Also how you use the laptop will have a huge effect on battery life.

What I'd suggest is search your laptop brand and model (model number is important) on a search engine and look for what size the battery is. For example I've got the Dell XPS 13 9310.

When I search "Dell XPS 13 9310 battery size", I get the result "Battery type: 4-cell 52 WHr "smart" lithium-ion". What's important here is the 52Wh measurement (the r doesn't matter).

This battery pack is 74Wh (other posts in this thread detail how that is found).

As a gross over simplification lets say my computer has a tank of 52L, and the battery pack has a tank of 74L. That means I can fill up my computer 1.4 times (74÷52=1.4). So however long your battery lasts you now, multiply that by 1.4 and you'll get a really rough idea of how long it could extend your battery life. For me I get about 4h, so ideally I could get 5.6h with the bank (totaling 9h). In reality it will be less than this number as the power bank isn't 100% efficient.

        • My old hp spectre with an i5 6300u can run remote desktop on a 20000mah zmi battery for about 6-8 hours (full battery and just sucking off the powerbank).

Depending on your dell's specs, you can ballpark it from here

  • Is there a decent sized 90+ watt power bank that doesn’t cost the bank?

    • +2

It depends on how much do you have on your bank? 😁

      Just kidding.

I'm not sure if Baseus Blade USB PD 100W 20000mAh Power Bank still available.

    • +2

I've heard great things about 210W Xiaomi ZMI No. 20 25000mAh Powerbank

      • Got my company to buy one for me as a UPS as I work from home. Should hopefully get it in the next couple of days. Woot.

        • I've had one for 2 weeks +. You're going to be very happy with it.

    • +1

      Anker 737 does 140W, if you need USB-C PD 3.1 for MacBook Pro M1 16" (2021) .

  • Does anyone know the difference between these 65w baseus powerbank? They all seem to have the same stats

  • all OOS.

    • Elf OOS, Adaman still available.

      • Weird, they must have just updated it cos I was getting listing not found.
