That makes no sense. Which is it? Single use, or once per day?

  • I thought every single item was always around half price at spotlight. So everything excluded!

  • Thanks got a candle

  • Tried to get this but it wouldn't let me? Any idea what the spend limit is?

No price limit but there is a category restriction on home electrical appliances. I'll post the full terms I got in my email in another comment.

I've been waiting on one of these for a Simplicity Bias Tape maker. $220 down to $132. I was expecting them to put it on "sale" for $199 or something so it would be ineligible. It's a pretty niche product and even as someone who sews regularly I wasn't sure if it was worth the cost… but it is the first time I've actually found this particular promotion useful! Now hopefully I have no C&C issues.

    • Have you tried it yet? How is it?

I've had a play, I make bunting (amongst other things!) to sell on Etsy to finance my sewing hobby and I had already cut it at 6cm as I usually would to press by hand so it didn't work great (needed to be 5cm!). Tried a 1" double fold and 1 1/4" single fold tip. Double fold kept bunching up - as to be expected since it was cut too wide and it really struggled where I'd joined it. I thought I'd try the single fold to see if it would save me a pass with the iron, worked great until I got to to the join and it wouldn't feed through at all. I was using some of the Spotlight scandi Christmas fabric which is quite a heavy weight. I usually use a plain homespun from either Spotty or Lincraft so I'll cut some and give it a go when I have time and report back! I've been told it can take a bit of trial and error to get it right, but I guess that's just sewing in general anyway!
