I can't help with questions about RAM I just stumbled across this after buying two used sticks at nearly the same price!

I'm not sure if they are R8 or R16 (about 20% difference in speed I think).

  If you have a 10th gen (rather than 11th) Intel CPU, check your motherboard spec, the RAM probably can only run at 2666MHz.

    My point was:
    3200MHz RAM might not run at full 3200MHz as you expected.
    Check the motherboard spec to find out the maximum speed that the RAM can run at with the CPU installed.

  If you are willing to go 10$ extra I can confirm These ones are 1rx8. Bought one a week earlier for $33 and if you are willing to wait I would wager these would drop again.

    Apart from the speed, but that will depend on your laptop whether you can really make use of them.

      Well yeah as you mentioned the speed is the main difference and it will have quite the impact on performance.

      Anything 10th gen or newer can take advantage of the speed.
