  • When can we get 6700 XT for $499?

I'll just call AMD's financial team and get back to you on that immediately.

Lol, funniest start to the morning

        • +2

could be like yesterday morning with Dell though

While I think this almighty price crash is not ever going to happen, I'll wait until it possibly does. No deal for me!

Asrock challenger 6800 is $759 @Centre Com with free delivery

where are the rtx 3090s under 1k? thats what we are here for

    • +1

I am after the same lol :D

    • Trust me when FS2020 and CP2077 receive their latest patches and come out of their current unoptimized beta forms you won't need a 3090.

There were people wasting the same money on SLIing 670's/680's back in 2012.. all e waste now and if you ask them they regret wasting the 1k back then. PC hardware is more like a gambling addiction than a need. Best to learn from their experience and not get sucked into childish marketing (7 series, 8 series, 9 series etc)\

Look up what your main games/screen needs and buy accordingly. You can usually drop a model down from forum/reddit recommendation also. You don't need a 6700xt/3070 for 1440p gaming lol. Maybe for like 4 games made after 2020.

  • X27 monitor came down to $215.99 when I added them to cart

ARG the pain. I bought used 6800xt for $1600

Just because this was a deal 2 months ago doesn’t mean it’s still a deal today

Wouldn't the ASRock Radeon RX 6800 XT Phantom Gaming D OC be a better deal for $60 more?

    • Original deal is now showing as $849.00 so there's now only a $10 difference…

  • I got my 560ti for like $230 from MSY. For some reason the 3060ti still isn't $230. Peoples fault for buying them and not waiting (ie creating ridiculous demand hence exhorborant prices).

Buy the slowest model you can get away with and hold for 2-5 years. The biggest joke of it all is most these people who want 3080> will play valorant etc lol and not even use 50% of the core.. It's nuts

    • +1

Yeah, nvidia especially is only so expensive because nvidia is charging insane prices for the silicon.

    • +1

Yeah, I got my previous GTX1060 3GB for $120, held it well for few years, what is valorant ?

      • +1

valorant is a popular game (kind've like csgo). Besides a handful of badly optimized games (Cyberpunk, flight sim) there's no real need for a 3080 or 3090

        • Ah! never heard of that before :)
Cyberpunk is pretty good now. I play it with Raytracing Ultra preset (defaulted to that) on RTX3060 at 1080p / 60 fps
