Have the previous model of this and can vouch for quality and great gaming experience - This is the top of the line model and is cheaper than mine.

I was trying to figure out the same thing. Jumped onto amazon and read some reviews and it is micro usb.
The dock is the same for both mice. I have the Viper Ultima and it is not a Type C. It is a stupid Razer specific Micro-USB
Yeah, mines micro usb - however because there is a dock, you don't really use the cable for anything else.

I have the Ultimate - and I just bought one of these to replace it when this one dies or I pass onto the missus!
Depends on what your using it for.
Seems like Viper is better for FPS games because of the lighter weight, while Basilisk might be better for MMO types because of the additional thumb button

Full of dust on both mouse and charging dock. Permanent marker on the model number/SN stickers and written "Razer ultimate" in Perm marker on the sides.
