Sennheiser Adidas HD25 DJ Headphones $199 Inc Delivery

200

In response to the Solo HD bargains went searching for the HD25s.. and turns out DJ Warehouse has them on sale again for their "End of financial year sale" for $199 inc delivery! Not as good as the old $149 deal a while ago, but still ruddy good and beats Dick Smiths recent deal (well by $5).

  • Took them a couple of months to arrive last time, be sure to get in quick otherwise you'll probably be waiting the same length of time.

Is this better than beats solo?

    • +2

      Yes.

    • +5

There is no comparison, beats are eye candy and eye candy only. Then again, I don't even like the look of beats :O

    • Easily.

    • Does anyone know where I can try this out? (Im in Sydney western suburbs) I've been trying all the display headphones in jb and Harvey Norman and I must admit that the beats are the best I've tried so far but too expensive, that's why I almost tempted to buy the dick smith sale.

I don't mind paying $200 as long as I know that sound quality is really good. I'm not a dj or anything like that just gonna use it with my new S3 playing music : )

      • You may not like this if you like Beats.

  • Isnt this and the dicksmith deal the same price? $199

    • Shipping perhaps?

Meh, I'll wait for another $149 deal.

  • +1

Still waiting for a deal on a non-adidas pair.

    • +2

If you don't mind ordering from overseas, order them from chemicalrecords.co.uk…cheapest around for the original non-adidas version.

Bought mine from them years ago, and as they were the cheapest, and and if I was going to buy another pair (I lost mine), I'd buy from them… I definitely don't want the adidas version!

But, I think I'll get a pair of dt-770 instead…not djing anymore, and use iems for portable use, so would prefer the bass of the dt's (bass on hd-25 is still pretty good tho!)

      • ah, thanks, I might go take a look =D

        • +2

Remember to go all the way through checkout…the VAT gets removed for international purchase, so cheaper than what it's listed at.

And postage is pretty cheap…was only a few pounds postage, from what I can recall.

      • Their new website is absolutely horrible…

      • Dt770 are also great cans, use them at work everyday, very comfy and sound delicious.

  • Edit: double post.

These headphones are great, but have a look at the comments for the previous dj warehouse deals…People waiting months for their headphones (some still hadn't received them last time I checked!), and no responses to emails…

You're better off buying from Dick Smith if they still have them. Or order the non-adidas version (no blue, no logos) from chemicalrecords.co.uk (that's where I got mine years ago, and still the cheapest for the non adidas)

also, they have sock puppets posting on ozbargain…just for that, I would never support them!

They really are top headphones for the price, very well built and comfortable, and the extra white velour ear pads are nice also.

But I had to wait over 2 months, yes LITERALLY over 2 months from date of order until receipt of the headphones. Personally id avoid DJ Warehouse and go with dick smith or whoever else if they price match it. I had to constantly ring up and email once every week to see what the story was. No good customer service I think.

    • Yeah, for portable / dj use, I think they are the best headphone on the market! Extremely rugged, and if anything does go wrong, all the parts are replaceable!

The isolation is the best you'll get in a headphone that light and portable. (excluding IEMs of course)

regret not jumping on the $149 price..

  • S still rocking mine from the $149 deal every day to work, they are so awesome! Comfy, light and sound unbelievable… my ears don't cope too well with iems so I'm happy I now have a pair of good portables.
Guess I also got lucky with dj warehouse as mine didn't take long to arrive but one easy or another they are totally worth $199.

  • i bought a pair of non sale headphones from dj warehouse almost 2 years ago, there wasnt another person in the shop and only one guy working there, so they werent busy. It took them 2 months to tell me that the model i ordered had been superceded IN that 2 months time that i was waiting for them. They told me theyd give me the replacement model for the price i paid for the older ones (about $50 difference). They came about a month after that.

So the service is there, but they are dreadful on shipping. checkout addicted to audio or headphones.com.au
