This is for a .Net developer conference called DeveloperDeveloperDeveloper, useful to programmers. It's being held in Sydney on Saturday 30/6/12, it's a full day event. Hosted at UTS, Sydney (in the city). The schedule of talks is here, http://lanyrd.com/2012/dddsydney/schedule/

I paid $25 for my ticket yesterday and today got sent this discount code for half price entry, $12.50 + $1.30 booking fee. They only accept Paypal payments. I'm not associated with them in any way other than being an attendee.

    Is Steve Balmer there?

    • You'd hope so.

  • Is the

    .NET Micro Framework board

ours to keep? Might be worth getting it and junking the rest of the sessions. :)

    Edit: Might be this board.

  • Cool. Just about to check out the schedule. :)

  • Lol at these comments. As far as I know the sweaty armpit man won't be there, there won't be any cool giveaways, no dancing girls, and I don't think it's an official fancy Microsoft event. Just a bunch of people in the industry sharing their skills.

  • The Oracle Java Developer day was totally free last month in both Sydney and Melbourne. It was held in a very good hotel and very good food was provided with many varieties in buffet for the whole day. Hope they know those Open Source Java developers always look for open and free stuff. Hope most OzBargainers are Java developers :D

    • Only now that Oracle owns Java the cost is your soul. I am greatly sadened by this as Java was once my default language, but Oracle seems intent on killing it through law suits.

    • Actually going by stats, most web developers are likely to be PHP developers, horrible language though it is.

  • Melbourne is having a similar conference July 28… no deals for it yet that I know of: http://www.dddmelbourne.com/

  • This is for a .Net developer conference called DeveloperDeveloperDeveloper

    Hmm.. This conference sounds familiar.
