Instead Bunnings have jacked up the price from $379 to $454.since yesterday.
Just got a call from customer service regarding my online pick-up order. They said it is not a clearance item but a price error and they can do a 1/customer special order delivered directly to my home for the same price of $189. Happily accepted and paid over the phone. That's pretty good customer service!

I got the same call, but I didn't want to give my credit card details. when I checked the number that I got the call from, it is not in the list of numbers in the website.

did you get an email from Bunnings with the order confirmation after you bought it?@NalB: I believe that is their outgoing number, instead of that 1800 one. Yes got the official order confirmation immediately. I used a vanilla card though and spent the leftover balance immediately.
If you are worried, just call them back on the 1800 number. You will reach the same crowd.

Even called me back when I hung up on them by mistake. Very good customer service!I got the same call! Nearly rejected the call thinking it was a scammer. But there’s no way they could know my phone number ordered that those batteries.
Update: got a message from Auspost that the parcel is already on the way to me via Express post. That is much faster than the 2-3 weeks originally quoted over the phone.
Yeah, i got the same call yesterday and told them id call them back on the customer service number, which eventually got transferred through to Jack who called me originally so I ordered over the phone and got the confirmation immediately on my email. It's just the outbound number is weird but it is legit.
FYI he said they are still out of stock and it will take a couple of weeks to get stock before it is shipped, so take this into consideration.I had forgotten about this deal after I got my refund.. until I got a call today from Bunnings, offering to special order this item when stock was due in (mid oct) delivered for the same price due to their error. call was totally out of the blue for me.

Also received a call today and they also sent through a Bunnings quote so that I could verify the order.
I've got a whole new level of respect for Bunnings with this pricing error. I was happy to let it go with my order being cancelled like everyone else, and being a bit disappointed in myself for not going in and picking one up at the time.
Any other company that mispriced an item would have just cancelled it and call it a day. Them honouring the price and sending one directly is a pretty rare thing these days. Well done hammer barn, well done.
I had to pick mine up, but my order was not canceled originally, so all good there. Very nice of Bunnings to honor other orders.

I originally got 3 units and couldn't get the other 3 now they called offered for $189. Managed to sell all 3 units ar $300 each.
Just got the last 3 of my orders. Selling another two and keeping 1.

Yea, it was a good scalp. Not sure why you got voted down. It was a worthy hustle. I know a person that sold 7 and made $1100 profit within 1 week. Funded his elcheapo Bali holiday next month.

I think the point of the downvotes is that your actions are depriving someone else of a bargain. You are, in effect, acting selfishly and preventing others from getting in by taking stock for yourself.
This is OzBargain, not OzGiveMeAWayToMakeAQuickBuck . The hope is that you'd share bargains with the community, not hoard them.
No way to prevent you from profiting by depriving others of opportunity, but people can certainly register their displeasure when you brag about what you did and what you got out of it. It rubs salt into the wounds of those that missed out because of lack of stock.
@deek: I didn't deprive anyone from owning one. Bunnings told me all orders would be filled as more stock arrived. So stfu

So you specifically asked Bunnings if others would be refused their order due to lack of stock, before placing your order? That's very gracious of you. I would take back every negative vote given to you, if I could.
