This time, however it is $40.After i did a switch it said - We will complete your CTP switch on your behalf. You will receive your $40 Gift Card within 28 days.

The $40 gift card is only valid for QLD registered vehicles currently not with Suncorp CTP Insurance. The vehicle must be either a Class 1 (cars and station wagons) or Class 6 (trucks, utilities and vans, including panel vans with a GVM of 4.5t or less). Gift Card

The Gift Card is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash and Gift Card Terms of Use may also apply.

For customers who are eligible to receive a Gift Card, it will be dispatched to the customer's address within 28 days of the nomination to switch their CTP Insurance to Suncorp Insurance being validated.

  If your insurance/rego doesnt renew until next year, do you get the GC now or after it renews?

    Should be after your rego renews. You can switch each year between QBE and Suncorp to get vouchers. QBE offers $30 and Suncorp offers $40.

    So I called Suncorp to change my CTP to them. They got my details and will check them against TMR's. I opted for an e-gift card (it includes a few retailers including Coles, Myer, JB, Wish, etc, but not an eftpos gift card—I chose that so I didnt have to wait for up to 28 days to receive a physical eftpos card) and should get it in 10 business days if it all checks out, dont have to wait til it actually renews.

    No mention of any gift card after sign up.
    Currently with QBE. By changing CTP should qualify for their offer next time.
