    For the Fenix 7 the solar and sapphire have 32gb of storage the base Fenix 7 only has 16gb this might be important if you want to keep world maps on the device. Also you obviously get solar and the saphire screen depending on which model you choose.

    I have the Sapphire/Solar, solar is an ok feature but I find the robustness of the Sapphire the game changer for me. Mine would be stratced up if I hadnt purschased this option.

  I just hate the silver colour on Fenix , my current fenix 5 is silver in color , only regret was not picking black one. Don't understand why no black coulor option on base Fenix7. Hoping for a deal on fenix 7 solar /sapphire soon.

  Yeah I hate the outer silver, why I moved from Fenix 5 to Fenix 6s pro.

    I have not seen a black on Fenix7 , only solar or solar+ sapphire

  I have the Fenix 6s silver and deciding between Fenix 7 silver or black (solar). A review from DC Rainmaker downplayed the importance of Sapphire version because the gorilla glass was almost the same. Although, lots of users mention that Sapphire glass is a worth investment. AUD is diving so Fenix prices are going up.
