Have you used the ebay toners? that almost seems too cheap
I have this exact printer and buy toner from inkstation, it's not quite as cheap as that ebay stuff ($86 for the set of 4 with the vip20 code) but it's been fine for our use. Certainly fine enough that I'm not going to spend $964 on the genuine stuff.

I've been using inkstation generic cartridges for my Brother MFC9140 for the past 5 years and they have been great!
They are more expensive than eBay but once you add the VIP20 discount code there isn't much in it :-)

Originally I wanted to buy MFC-L3770CDW, but there was no stock at Officeworks. RRP is $599, and Officeworks sold at $529 before. I couldn't find good price. So I moved to higher model, MFC-L8690CDW, and I bought this at $645.05. I think this model has double side scan, and faster printing.

Normal gsm80 photocopy paper.
