Was checking the site for a while, and found that they recently had a price drop yesterday. I believe they are genuine ones, after the deal fox fiasco. Before a flood of "M50s FTW" or " better can be had for less", I thinks this is a great deal for the studios, genuine. First time poster longtime lurker. Feel free to edit if anything wrong with format :)

      ok… to save you the stress of linking that every time… this doesn't mean they are a counterfeit dealer. It just means they are not approved.

      It is them both Monster covering their asses from paying out people who bought fakes, and also forcing resellers to abide by Monsters very specific pricing guidelines.

  Hmm, from the last Beats Solo HD deal, did anyone purchase and get fakes? I already purchased a pair, so I guess we will see.. Also any idea what to do if I receive a counterfeit pair, as Kogan website has a 100% genuine garuentee?

  Until I finally got curious enough about the background of this headphone brand to look it up on Wikipedia a few days ago, I had no idea who "Dr Dre" was and had assumed it was perhaps the cool nickname for a maverick acoustical engineer with a rare doctorate in the field and a passion for headphones. Seems my imagination was a little bit off :-/

    I just contacted head office of Kogan and he has assured me that Kogan sells only genuine products and that these are not counterfeit as they ship with a registration code.

    Still not convincing enough for me to shop from Kogan unless they could get a verification as authorised dealer from Beats and have their site removed from counterfeit dealers list.

      You know so little about audio that you couldn't tell whether they were fake or not, unless the monster site said so…

      do yourself a favor… Stick to fakes and save yourself some money.
