The pixel watch is running a 4 year old processor. People are better off with last years Samsung's galaxy watch 4 or the recently new galaxy watch 5
10nm as opposed to the Snapdragon W5 gen1's 4nm. It's the only reason I'm not buying the Pixel watch.
I've got the Samsung GW4 and I don't like it. Battery life is terrible and it does not play nice with non-Samsung phones, especially not with Huawei.I guess I'm waiting for the Ticwatch 4 or the Oppo Watch 3 (global).

What's the hype behind buying a new Pixel phone now-a-days?
My current phone is Pixel 5 and I have it mainly because of unlimited saver storage for Photos. Since Google ditched this feature, I have not been too eager to buy new Pixel phones (unless they bring unlimited photo storage back - which I know they wont).
Pixel 5 is the best Pixel ever after the Nexus line up in my opinion. Not just because of unlimited photos upload but it was the perfect size, best battery life till date, 90Hz screen was totally fine for most users, one of the least buggy Pixel phones, traditional finger print sensor and the list goes on. And the irony is, they didn't work on Pixel 5 at all, it was a last minute hastily put together phone because they couldn't get Tensor 1 running on time.
I bought a Pixel 5 this year. Was luckily able to find a brand new one from Mobile City.
My aim is to drag it out as much as possible. If battery goes week, I can replace it. Lost interest in new Google phones since they removed the unlimited storage.I had it for 10 months before switched to 6 Pro which I sold in less than 2 months. I still have a new/refurbished Pixel 5 sitting in my drawer too that I plan to gift my dad this Christmas. But I am so mad at my flip 3's continuous fails I keep wanting to go back to it. I have 2 x original Pixels for unlimited photo storage so I don't really care about that.

Do you have a routine setup to transfer photos? I'm currently doing it manually for my wife's iPhone and it is a tedious and a rather lengthy process.@ar7ist: It definitely is a tedious and lengthy process indeed. I don't use any automations or routines. Transferring from iPhones is even more painful as we need to resort to third party apps for transferring the files or have to use a PC.

@Emphasise: Must've been one of the lucky ones. I can only seem to get the P7Pro in 128GB and the other two versions are showing as "Unavailable".
EDIT: I see the issue, its because 256GB and 512GB are unavailable for the Hazel and White versions. Only the black colour has all 3 size options available at the moment.

I got a random email from Google giving me a unique code for 15% off. I tried it against the watch (cannot do for pixel phone) and it worked.
Not sure if you can, terms for $300 mentions you can't combine with other promo, and it's off the RRP.
I'm pretty sure the store credits can be used as money. Other day I bought a Google Home with 50% discount and paid the whole amount with the store credits.
