Anyone else from QLD can confirm it’s not $0?

          • @mickey888: I'm in Queensland and it shows $0 for me, but I didn't order anything.

            • @Loopholio: Ta! Thinking only Vic and NSW because dark side said it’s showing price

  • Click Collect 12.30

  • Can anyone else try? Is the code working or only at ferntree gully store? Please comment

After testing out the code with couple of the menu this what I found:
-. Code only works for "Delivery"
-. Delivery price actually more expensive than click and collect, around $4 - $12+ more expensive per menu (e.g. 6x Red Hot Fried $17.95 for click and collect but for delivery is $21.95 so its $4 more)
-. Red Hot Spicy Box only worth $14.25 if you click and collect instead delivery

    Conclusion:
Its not free considering the big price bump between menu click/collect and delivery, pretty much its to offset the delivery fee

    • +1

The Ozbargain way, complain about everything:

      Deal:"Free Goose Shits Gold".

Ozbargain: "Requires food and is more swan than goose, 1/5 stars".

  • -2

I would claim that this must be a pricing error. There's no way they would knowingly give it away for free.

    • +1

Yea its free, I just test it but you need to order other thing to make up for $25 free delivery.
After checking click/collect and delivery menu and saw the big price gap, end up cancel the order considering its not free anyway xD

    • +2

I ordered and only paid $26.40. Delivered and now eating. Didn’t get charged for reds spicy box, even on receipt it’s $0.

  • +4

Works for me (Southern NSW) but there is nothing on the menu worth the delivery prices, $19 for a whole chook? They are dreaming.

    • $14.95 if you click and collect so $4.05 price gap for delivery lol

    • +4

      How about $25.40?
Whole chicken + snack sub + reds spicy box

      • +5

Talked me into lol, can use the chook for work lunches

@mickey888: Whole chook $3 after 10pm at some woolworths stores

Doesnt taste as good but ok for sandwhich

            • @easternculture: woolworths close at 930 here in qld

              • +3

                @DarkSide: Then try about 830ish

                • +2

@easternculture: Anything after 6:30pm where I am. There's no pattern to it whatsoever. They usually remove them from display as the night goes on, and pull them apart to be used for ???. But sometimes I've seen a dozen still on display at full price until 3 minutes before closing, then they remove them all into the deli area on a trolley, and no-one is pulling them apart, so they must just toss them out.

                  • +1

@[Deactivated]: Don't throw them out, must be sold or marked down within a 2hr window from cooked otherwise they are used for pulled chicken.

                    • @Geoff01: Yep, I've seen them pull them apart many times… they take them behind the deli counter against the back wall, onto a long stainless steel bench and pull them apart. They put gloves on and you can see them struggling, burning their hands lol.

But a few times now I've seen a dozen or more, still unsold, right on closing time, that didn't get marked down as if someone forgot or the person responsible for it didn't come to work that day. Since they came out of the oven before 6pm and they close at 10pm they would have been on display at least 4 hours.

At those times only (right on closing, when not marked down and lots still unsold), someone takes them right out the back out of sight instead, and I guess they get tossed because the person didn't want the hassle of pulling them apart. Everything in the deli window is put away or covered, it's a few minutes to closing, most of the front doors are already down, and there's no visible or audible staff movement out the back.

When they do get marked down well before closing time (as is supposed to happen), you'll see several staff grabbing one for themselves too - which doesn't happen at these other times.

Thanks for posting this, never had Red's before and after this, I'm happy to say it's not likely to be tried again.

    • Thanks for posting this. I am not gonna jump on this deal AT ALL then.

  • Still salty RR doesn't want to deliver to my place even though its literally 5 mins drive away.

Menulog, ubereats all accept delivery for RR as well. Sigh

  • How did u find this out OP?

    • +1

Daughter want to eat Fried chicken. Saw previous post coupon code with CC80xx. Tried, invalid. Weird because I have all offers on app, then saw another post code with RR. So i am guessing Cc is click collect and rr is delivery. Tried code from Rr8010 to rr8020.

      • +3

Actually, I just found out another easier way.
App > Offer > Reds spicy box (delivery) > $0
        No code needed.

  • +1

Thanks OP! I’ve been feeling wretched today and didn’t have the energy to cook anything. This saves me for tomorrow too.
