    Tried to get a price match at OW the other day and they wouldn't. Citing 'country of Origin is China'.. no shit, it's made there. They wouldn't budge, so I went to JB instead.

    Depends what you use it for. The 2022 Ipad Air is far superior in performance with the M1 chip. Lots of review place it as the best buy ipad as it sits closer to the pro in performance with the M1 chip but significantly discounted on price. It is often on sale too, meaning only a $300-$350 difference to the basic ipad.

    Also the new basic model 2022 Ipad will be out soon, so i imagine the 2021 model will be discounted more heavily in the near very future.

        What I like about these is the 8GB RAM. The one specified by jv is only 4GB. That is if you have a few chrome tabs open, it closes other app in the background. Which can get annoying. My 2017 ipad 5 is still very fast and snappy, but its limited 2GB RAM is what slows it down when switching apps.

        4GB is not much even for iOS in the coming years if you plan to have few apps running.
