  • I've been in the market for a new basic web cam, I've checked Umart and other stores and this seems like a pretty good deal. Ordered!

I've got this cam, it's great however it doesn't handle bright scenes or spaces very well, washing out the image completely in some cases.

  • Is this viofo dashcam better $48? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/293961101335?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mk…
Anyone had experience? Looks better than this creative one?

I bought this cam and sold it off in 2 hours. This cam is only if you're desperate for any kind of video feed. I swear the webcam on my laptop (Dell XPS) is (far) better quality than this.

Video quality is garbage, the exposure and dynamic range is garbage - if you have a window to your left or right, be prepared to have half your face completely blown out or the other half in complete darkness.

Give this a skip. Get something better. it's worth it.

the exposure and dynamic range is garbage

Have got to concur. I have it… and hate it. Dynamic range is horrific, which kills exposure. Background is blown out white. It's horrible if you hard set exposure…virtually all settings incl. Hue and Saturation need to be tweaked everytime a cloud moves across the sun… and with it on Auto it's …. dammit. Don't buy it. 'Am looking for another.

    • What would you recommend instead?

      • I do not own this camera (C922) - but you can try this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/730644

I have tried both Logitech Streamcam ~$99 and Logitech Brio - $$$ - Streamcam is definitely very good quality but finicky with its type c cable.

        • How do you rate the Streamcam and Brio since those are two you've used?

Thanks for the link to the C922. I will have a look at it. Don't like that it's such an old webcam, but I guess at this price, it's worth a look.

  • I bought it half a year ago for this price. Probably it is not so refined al Logitech c922, but more than enough for meetings

    • Always on sale this thing and I have never seen it over this prices. Not a bad camera but not quite Logitech quality.
