  • Needs a [NSW] tag, I think.

    • I think it's nation-wide,
but extra StoreCash for NSW residents.

    • I am in VIC, I received this: At The Good Guys 'til midnight Friday get 15% off a range of TVs, Audio and Home Security. 10% off a range of Home Appliances & Tech. Plus Earn up to $70 StoreCash by activating a Digital Wallet & spending over $300.

  • It's a trap!

  • Does it stack with realcash offer?

  • Is StoreCash another BNPL?

    • i think the "Paypal Pay In 4" is the BNPL component of this deal,
hence why NSW Residents (are targeted) to test the waters.

The StoreCash deal is nationally, and what they're offering is a 10% "credit"
(which happens to be the GST amount), to nudge you towards lowering more of their inventory.

  • all well and good, but I can't get the storecash to work in the wallet and TGG haven't done anything to fix it. Apparently some customers are having an issue of only a generic card showing in Wallet, and I am one of them. Have tried many times, but still the same thing

    • I couldn't get the wallet to work either on my Android device (it just displays the barcode, which probably would be ok for an in-store purchase).

For me, I received an email when I got the StoreCash credit. And within this in email, it had the barcode itself along with both the code number and PIN. I was able to use the code number and PIN successfully for an online purchase (it can be enterred into the gift card section on the payment page).

Check to see if you have this email. My one was titled 'Your earned StoreCash is NOW in your Digital Wallet'.

      • I haven't earned any storecash. I was just trying to set it up in the first place to get my concierge credits in there as they last longer, but setting it up through the link in the emails just won't work. They have tried to find a fix but nothing yet. I sent another email but so far has been crickets

  • I am going to see if Bunnings will beat them for another 10%. Anyone tried?

    • No luck. Said they only match with price tag on shelf.

  • bought a A/C last week for $1299 , however no Storecash in my apple wallet

  • +1

who hasn't deleted PayPal after last week's announcement?

    • didn't they say they "never intended to" do that?…

…and did you see how they don't allow cancelling PayPal accounts either now, after that uproar

      • +1

        cancelled both accounts without issues

  • Anyway to tie this in with the GG Commercial website purchases? 🤔

    • no, totally separate

  • My digital wallet had $50 store credit with $300+ spend

  • Why it sounds like you can get storecash $50 + $80 for spend over $500 if live in nsw
