  • This is just on par with Hardly Normal's price, surely a more agile outfit such as Mobileciti can do better.

    Great tablet, about to get better with ICS being officially announced (at last):

    Hi rep, off topic here but a 32GB micro SD card I bought from you in December has had a melt down a few weeks back, is only showing as 11gb space even though the card is empty. The data I put in that 11GB of space also disappears constantly never to be seen again. Where do I go from here?

    • email to [email protected] with order number, I will get someone reply back to you asap.

    • That's not the australian stock, it's the oversea import stock. thank you

      • I'm not sure about that but they said it's australia warranty. Anyway I got pricematch it from Officeworks. Just $10 more from your price but got 32GB.

      • call up officeworks and they will price match it for you + give you Aus stock.
        i got mine the other day! sweet tablet! :)

  • hi Rep, just wondering, apart from note & nexus, any great deal for s3 white or pebble blue? cheers

  • ok i know this has been asked before but I am stuck IPAD 2 32GB + 3G for approx $450 or Galaxy $385 32GB WIFI ????

    Really not sure which way to go….

      Mate it really depends on how you want to use it. Both are nice devices. In my mind it comes down to a few key points of difference:

      Apps: iTunes do have a lot of quality apps Android seem to miss (or get later). However Android still has a ton of apps and I only find myself wishing I could run IOS apps every so often. If you know some must have apps you can't live without confirm they have iOS/Android version before purchase.

      Size: The larger size of the iPad could be a pro or con depending on your use. But let me say I love the size of the 7.7, I find it a lot easier to use/hold/transport and never find myself wishing I had a bigger screen.

      Media: If you want to watch a lot of video I think the 7.7 is the winner. The SMOLED screen is fantastic for video (contrast is amazing), and being able to play any format is a huge advantage. Also expandable memory is great for carting around a media collection.

      3G connectivity: If you need 3G its pretty clear which one to choose (as only one of your options have 3G). There is a 3G 7.7 but that was not your question.

      Overall I choose the 7.7 as it is far more portable and a lot more convenient for media consumption.

      i had this dilemma too but opted to go the samsung 7.7 because:
      - more portable (if u want a smaller screen/device);
      - expandable memory;
      - the super amoled plus display has a higher pixel density
      - supports adobe flash
      - good size for reading ebooks/magazines/comics etc.
      - looks better (subjective opinion though)
      - upgradeable to ICS

      If u can live without 3G and use wi-fi then i reckon 7.7 is the way to go.
      HOWEVER, there is a million times more accessories for the Ipad 2 than Galaxy Tab. I was forced to by a genuine samsung cover from Harvey norman because no other retailer had them.

        Get the accessories from ebay. Cheap and good.

    This is the best tablet in the market even beat the newer models.
    Just to note 16GB version is made in Korea, however, 32GB one is made in Thailand if I am not wrong

  • I am guessing the prices will drop further with the Google announcement next week and the rumor of the budget tegra 3 tablet.

    Otherwise, I have held this tablet at a JBHIFI and it feels fantastic. I got the toshiba instead though, as similar config for half the price (though there is no ICS announcement for it..).
