    The last sale was stock that came in from a store that went under & while other items in store were reduced this time everything in store has to go.

  Meh… Came there last weekend and nothing is heavily reduced. The 1 fridge I was interested in was marked $1345 (down from $2185) as part of the closing down sale but it was already sold. Hopped into The Good Guys next door and they had it advertised for sale on $1358. So I wouldn't have high hopes on the other items.

      The lowest price online is $499. I think, getting someone to match at $450 wouldn't be too difficult. I am not against you though. I was only thinking that if its a closing down sale, they should be offering goods for even cheaper rate.

        Hey don't spoil my bargainers spirit, think its still a pretty good price. They had the Bosch 6.5kg which was the cheapest I have seen also.

  ive dropped into that store countless times, but always walked out disappointed, as they can never seem to come close to matching the prices of stores nearby….GG & JB (and formerly DSE & maxwells).

  why is it i have doubts it is a true closing down sale - yes they are closing, but do the prices reflect this ?

  i will add ive always thought it was a poorly located store - GG moved out of that homemaker centre years ago.

  Went in there today, nothing special at all.

  One of their products that i was interested in, was listed higher than HN across the road. Haggling didnt help much either.

    You proved my point above….. The prices do not reflect true CLOSING DOWN value. Its just an ordinary sale (if we can even call it a sale).
