Phew. Thought it's going to be $10k GC with $1.5k cashback this time.

  • Looks more reasonable offer

  • +2

12% off on 250$ Gift Card.

    • +12

      12% ($30) BONUS + 2% ($5) on Swap Cift Cards etc = 14% back on $250 purchase.

  • Ahhh. just paid off $1k this morning for Saturday… my bad..

  • +2

omg, stop lol. I'm going to have thousands of dollars in gift cards at this rate..

  • +7

    12% only for the finale???
    Come onnnn

    Week 1: $50 of $350 = 14%
    Week 2: $10 of $50 = 20%
    Week 3: $125 of $1000 = 12.5%
    Week 4: $30 of $250 = 12%

    • You actually expected Shopback to make the deals better?

    • Needs a week 5: $500

      • I guess week5: $25 of $150

    • +2

      Yeah, disappointing.
But this month does have a 5th weekend, @GYB.

      • +1

Only the first 4 weeks of October for this one, I'm afraid! Sorry to hear this weeks deal isn't the favourite of some here on OzB, we gotta have a variety for different types of users of course, but noted the feedback all.

  • +9

It seems you can use super swap cards for woolworths now. Is this new or did i just not notice it before?

    • +1

      You're spot on….
Never seen that woolworths swap until now
I know people are using eg card hack for woolworths

      • I thought I saw that in passing on a comment, can you share or link it? Or PM if it's something "sensitive"

        • I never tried this personally, but I've seen people comment on adding eg card (for fuel) to ww rewards pay and use it for groceries

        • +1

Can only use the hack to shop in-store. Doesn't work online. But no need for the hack anymore.

          • @ShouldIBuyIt: Yes this is what I meant. With everyday pay, you need to physically scan the qr code on the eft terminal

    • Superswap got even better. I could use some of the value of over $1000 gift cards bought from this promotion on Opal recharge. (which I need to go to work) Too easy that I dont even have to wonder what to spend on now.

      • Coles can do it too you know.
Been using this at Coles Wynyard for a while

        • +1

Not all coles do it. There are more Woolies that do it, so having Woolworths gift card will be more useful for me.

          • @Bang1: Try to top up at coles though whenever you get those 1.2k flybuys points for $30 spend.. sweet deal.

            • @Ernestpogi: whenever you get those 1.2k flybuys points for $30 spend.. sweet deal.

I get that offer every now and then. You can sweeten the deal even more as there is a hack to double the points 😄

    • Yes, noticed on Monday. Wasn't available till last Sunday.

    • So superswap then change for Woolworths gift card?
Don't mind using little bit as I go to scan in store, will have to look into it.

What are the instructions if it's not a hack?

      • Woolies gc can be used online/in-store.
Not sure what instructions you're after. Swap card, pick Woolies, enjoy

        • Yeah that seems like a good option, will easily use that voucher up with normal shops vs sitting on a $100 JB's one.

it was just all that fuel card hack stuff that threw me..

          • @G-rig: The fuel hack works in store only. I shop online also for the double dip on 10% off hence not convenient.
            But no need anymore.
You may need to swap in prezzee, not sure Woolies is available in SB

            • @ShouldIBuyIt: Oh right, I didn't t think i saw woolworths gift card on the SB app. So maybe not that straight forward.

I just assumed I could change the superswap to woolworths (but it's in the exclusions). i only shop in store no internet orders for woolies.

Free 30$ may as well, probably wouldn't get rewards points then but not too bothered with them.

              Cheers,

              • @G-rig: You can swap the ShopBack super swap gift cards to Woolies. It’s not excluded.

You can store the woolie’s gift cards in your reward app’s wallet and can also receive points for shopping.

                • @kaal: OK sounds good, thanks - just can't see woolies in the list of retailers or gift cards in the shopback app - clearly missing something

                  • +1

@G-rig: You’ll have to buy the ShopBack super swap gift cards to swap to Woolies gift cards. Woolies gift cards aren’t available to buy on its own.

                • @kaal: The reward app is pretty neat. I've got bits and pieces of gc and I use the reward pay and it just stack them all.
You will get points and bonus points even with gc. May be targeted but they've got 2 concurrent offer. Just got 8k pts bonus :-)

                  • @ShouldIBuyIt: Don't know anything about this pressee
So you reckon store in there and then there's some Woolworths available?

                    • +1

@G-rig: Definitely. Have swapped $300+ worth of Woolies gc. I keep it in prezzee because it's less step to swap than SB.
Assuming you bought $250 this morning give it a try:

                      • Create prezzee account
                      • From SB app, unwrap and store the gc in prezzee
                      • Back in prezzee app, swap for Woolies gc
                      • Open Woolies reward app, add new gc here
                      • @ShouldIBuyIt: Cheers for that - all makes sense, i just assumed prezzee is quite a new thing and hadn't heard of it till recently.
I saw the pop up so will make an account cheers.

                        • @G-rig: I jumped on it only 3weeks ago when latitude gc started ha ha. Had a nice fellow member helping me as I was in same situation than you ^^
They've had quite a few discount in the past but never really followed cause I usually don't buy gc.
And here I am after 3 weeks, sitting on $2.5k worth of gc lol

                          • @ShouldIBuyIt: yeah thanks, that's a lot of value to use but no doubt will use it up. Getting a bit much all of this but money to be saved haha. I have had the 28d card for years and it's the best.. the price protection good for the older members.

  • Does anyone know whether supplementary cards also eligible for the offer as well?

    • +4

tracked and completed for me as a non primary card holder in the last deal

    • requested supplementary card but didn't receive in 2 weeks, they may have too many new applications due to this promo?

  • -8

These deals are limited to only these CC holders? Crap deal, just saying 👎🤣

    • +2

Crap deal for me. I fixed it for you.

    • +2

Yes a crap deal because you are not a cardholder of one of the most popular cards used by members on OzBargain (28 Degrees).

All the other deals ran out of stock indicating they were all popular.

    • Yes your loss not having a 28d card.
The price protection guarantee saves me a heap per year for price drops.

  • +1

I need one of these cards, is the application process painless?

    • +2

they've changed owners since I applied and hold this card but this card remains my go to for international purchases and travel. It was pretty painless last time.

    • +1

recently got one in the last 2 weeks, had to provide a pay stub for application after the automatic bank check failed but other than that pretty easy. signed up in <10 mins, card arrived in a week or 2 (but you can start transacting asap)

    • +1

If your circumstance is pretty straight forward, I'd say it's relatively easy. I literally applied for this CC just for this promo and got it within 14 days (from submitting application to actually getting the card)

  • I have this card and the ShopBack app but I can't find this offer. Can anyone point me to it?

    • Under Earn more, but not live yet

  • +3

Also can now swap for Woolies!

    • Sorry, which card can be swapped for Woolworths? I’ve looked and looked but can’t find it. Thanks.

      • +1

Buy a super swap card. Then can swap for Woolies, amongst others (doesn't have to be full amount, can mix & match)

        • Thanks, but Woolies isn’t listed as an available retailer. At least not in my app.

          • @YesPleaseThankYou: I cannot find woolworths gift card in my app as well.

            • +1

@Purple: What app are you using? I swap in prezzee and it's there first option.

              • +1

@ShouldIBuyIt: Thank you for the info. Yes, now I found it through prezzee.

  • Thanks op

  • +3

FYI for those unfamiliar, the last round of $1000 Giftcard’s had a redemption limit that was hit within an hour of the deal going live. Found that out the hard way.

    • this one will be even faster if they dont increase the numbers

      • This one has about 500 more redemptions available than last week, it's hard to know for sure but I reckon we will get a bit more time out of this one. If you're keen, always best to queue for it a day early and set an alarm to jump on when you can to get yourself a spot.

        • I was surprised the $1000 went so fast. Would have done it also if they had of added the Woolies to super swap before it ran out.

    • +3

      Absolutely untrue!

1st offer ($50 bonus on $350) - tracked quickly. Received cashback in a few days👍
Same with next offer ($10 bonus on $50)👍
Cashback already in my bank account💰

Sad you didn't even try to know how wrong you are! Your misguided belief stopped you getting great Deals.

    • Got everyone of mine, most people do. Some real savings to be had. Disappointing your not getting them, maybe reach out to GYB.

    • I’ve had just under $2k of cashback with SB, annd from all of that I’ve only had cashback not track correctly twice. On both of those times SB investigated and credited me the amount I should’ve had.

  • -1

Please let this be the last weekend morning promo. Horrible time.

  • Has to purchase with Latitude credit card?

    • +1

Yes, you need to add the Lat card to your SB app payment method and choose this for the GC payment.

  • 15xx participants but 1250 rewards?

    • Its first 1250 to purchase - just be quick, like most Deals!

  • +1

    Purchased 5 x $50 Swap gift cards🎉
Gift cards tracked within 4min @$1 each (2%)
    $30 bonus tracked within 10min👍

  • Is the normal cashback 2% on superswap?
Edit: cashback pending, reward completed so looks like it's tracked already.
    Thanks Op!

  • Purchased. Lets see if it tracks

  • +2

I can't click on the offer to opt in…. Doesn't even seem like a link?

    • Go the gift card section and then opt in to the challenge there.

      • That didn't work at the time but eventually I was able to click thru from the main page…

Thanks.. Got my gc at the end!

  • -4

yet again… avaibility is so limited… over 300 people wil missing out. It would be sold out in minutes if not seconds

    • You have no idea!

  • This one isn't working for me. The banner on the home page of the app isn't responding.

    • Same here

  • Can this offer stacks with the deliveroo spend $200 and get $30 back ?

In total spend $250 deliveroo and get $60 back.

    • -2

if you havent got in by now. You are already too late

    • Didn’t have that offer. Would have jumped on it!

      • -5

I'd recommend you to not worry about it anymore. There were over 1k5 people queued up before 10am and only 1250 spots for the rewards

        • Sad trolling "person"

        • +1

When you have no idea how things work, it pays not to be a keyboard warrior and mouth off.

          • @Coops1: did i said something wrong?

            • @legelas: Telling people not to worry about it, and that they are too late. That’s mouthing off with no idea!

              • @Coops1: I might be wrong however my logic is there were more people queing up than the number of rewards. I just dont want people to spend $250 and end up not getting the cashback

                • @legelas: The offer is still available and it’s 10.17. Like I said, if you don’t know how it works, don’t be a keyboard warrior!

                  • -1

@Coops1: good luck to people who purchase now then

                • +2

@legelas: Queued is different to purchased!
                  Queue is getting longer…
But still available to buy in this Deal.

Queue was open long before Deal started - I entered very long queue yesterday. Had no problem buying. $30+7 tracked.

I see you bought & received tracking.
