    Fantastic price.

Don't bother trying to price match at 99 Bikes. They don't price match voucher sales.

    • Yep, didnt bother putting that in the description.

Kickr Bike comes down to $4,249.96 too.

Never seen the Kickr Core priced so low - if you're on the fence this should sway you to buy it!

    • yep, this is even cheaper than some second hand units on FB.

  • I have a feeling they will release a new Kickr Core with updates such as wifi connectivity that's on the new Kickr V6, but who knows. But $800 for new price is cheap either way, and I doubt the new one will upgrade anything mechanically considering the way the V6 went over the V5, and the core is still better than the Zwift trainer. Very tempting.

Wow, at this price, I have to order one.
Upgrade my dumb trainer I got for $15 on Facebook marketplace.

  • any recommendation for a value lockring tool?

    • Cassette lock ring tool? Try AliExpress.
Saw bike repair kit at Aldi at 30% off recently. Great value, will have almost everything you need.

Bikehand tools on amazon are ok

  • Doubtful you'll get credit back. I called up to confirm some details about the Jamis A2 as it was a part of the extra 25% off. They removed the listing after i called and it it back up today after the extra 25% off has finished.

    • I did once, but it was just $6, and was store credit, not a refund of the difference.

  • So I've got a Giant Contend AR 4 2021, with this cassette:

    Shimano HG50, 8-speed, 11x34

What cassette would I be looking at that is compatible with the kickr core and do I need any other accessories - like minor bolts to make it fit? From what I've researched it seems that I may need additional accessories, however I'm a newbie to all this, so I could be looking at the wrong thing.

  • Was on the fence but bought it today along with the cassette and the wahoo mat.

nice, I use a decathlon mat which is quite good at $59
      https://decathlon.com.au/products/turbo-trainer-mat-flanders…

Sometimes they also have their 10-15% deals too

      • How's a turbo mat different from say a yoga mat?

        • it's denser and not as spongey.

          Easy to wipe up sweat

        • +1

Also it's wider than yoga mat

      • Didn't know and could have saved$60. Looked at Amazon for 59 but wasn't sure if they as sweat resistant.

        • you can still contact Pushys to remove the mat if you want.

          • @impoze: It's cheaper on Amazon. Will call them tomorrow to cancel.

    Hi Guys,

Probably a dumb question I have a Shimano ultegra drive train what cassette should be ok to go with this is 11-28 the most standard one?

    • Yep - that or the 11-30

You can have a look at your cassette for your size, it will be on the backside of the largest cog, or front screw in ring 👍

FWIW - I have ultegra with 11-28 to martch my road cassette

      • Thanks mate it's definitely an 11-28

        • +1

You don't need to buy an ultegra cassette, save some money and get 105 11speed cassette. difference is in weight. Unless you want to put the new cassette on your wheel, and old one on the kickr. Even still, you could still go with 105 depending on price difference and if you're fussed about saving the 25-35 grams.
sram 11speed cassette would work too (or other third party shimano/sram compatible 11speed cassette)

          • @dcuksuop: 100% I went for the 105 cassette in the deal too be honest even the ultegra cassette on the wheel is over kill not like I'm racing on bike paths haha.

  • Hi there, how can I get further 15% off? Thanks.

    • Smash15

  • Thanks OP.
Finally pulled the trigger and bought one.
Does anyone have any recommendations on which App to use with it? Are the paid ones worth it if I have a garmin head unit already that I can load rides onto?

    • most of the apps have free trials, zwift, rouvy, fullgaz etc

    • My Whoosh is completely free.
But be aware that someone here cried because the graphics weren't up to scratch shrugs
I've used it a few times and I'm fine with it.
