      Tldr seems to be that cooling is a limiting factor if you do tasks that load it up constantly. H265 youtube 4k was one example.

      Otherwise, it all seems good, and a PC I can use to transform a monitor into an AIO for a client for under $220? No bad.

      Old monitors are basically thrown away, so this will be great for a schoolwork machine for a few elderly clients I have still on p4's with XP.

          Oh; I also notice I said 'schoolwork' and 'elderly' lol.

          I was thinking of one family I work with, who is broke who need a PC, and then the nursing homes, and my brain I guess decided they need to be in the same sentence :p

          Lots of older folk grew up with "use it till it breaks" .

          It still checks email, and lets them zoom to their family.

          Last month, Zoom dropped XP support, so lots of folks are now looking to upgrade.

    If you are already using a Samsung S phone, wouldn't you be better off using DeX for real portability? If you need more CPU power you'd be better off connecting to your home PC via RDP.

      Lots of people don't know how to use any form of *nix is all; so android is just alien to them. Even for a heavy nix user, Samsungs Android is annoyingly locked down.

      Virtual machines in dex are laggy.

      Some folks just learned windows, then stopped educating themselves, ergo, need windows.

      I agree with the RDP sentiment.
