Option 1 - trade in your device for a new one
- Trading in your old mobile phone or tablet is a great way to help the planet and earn yourself some extra bill credit.
- You can trade in selected Apple, Samsung, Google, Oppo, and Huawei devices.

Step 1 - Learn more about device trade-in using the link below.
Step 2 - Once you've submitted your trade-in application, you'll be directed back to this page.
Step 3 - If you haven't already, sign in or join Telstra Plus, then proceed to claim points.
Step 4 - You’ll receive an email confirming that 5,000 Telstra Plus bonus points have been added to your account.

How to get Telstra Plus bonus points when you recycle
- Take your eligible device to any Telstra store and drop it into the recycle box.
- Scan the QR code on the recycle box. Proceed to the Bring back bonus form via the 'Claim points' button.
- You'll be prompted to sign in or join Telstra Plus, then complete and submit the form.
- You’ll receive an email confirming that 5,000 Telstra Plus bonus points have been added to your account.
Can’t get into a Telstra store?
Use our eParcel option to package the devices you have at home (up to 15kg) that have reached their end of life. Once you’ve posted your devices, return to this page and use the 'Sign in to claim points' button above to sign in or join Telstra Plus, then claim your points.
- Bonus points can be claimed once per customer account
- For new or existing Telstra Plus members
- You can recycle as many devices as you like however you’ll only receive bonus points for one device.
- Bonus points will be applied to your account within 14 days.
- The trade-in program is managed by Kingfisher Mobile Australia Pty Ltd. To be eligible for the trade-in program, you must be aged 18+, with a post-paid service with us (other than a Telstra Upfront Mobile Plan). You may only trade-in a device from Kingfisher’s list of eligible devices. Devices subject to Telstra Mobile Lease Plans are ineligible. The trade-in credit offer will vary depending on your device type, the model and the working condition of your device, and is subject to device assessment. Device may be returned to you and trade-in credit not applied if: the condition of your device doesn't match that of your application; your data is not wiped; or device security locks or device tracking features are not disabled. Credit will be applied within 2 billing cycles.
