Update: I have received my gift card purchased at 9:13am and when I clicked on the link called “View Gift Card”, it brings me to the Blackhawk website that shows JB on the Ultimate Thanks gift card image. It’ll make you go through myprepaidcentre website to activate and save your card to your account

      U can try to use Flypay if ur desperate (I happened to have once). My card was declined but the exact same card went through fine with Flypay. Also, maybe try different browser

          Rubbish. I entered into an agreement to buy a product that worked at JB. They cannot change the product after the terms are agreed to.

          I didn't even buy in this deal but I had a $100 gift card bought at 8% via shopback specifically for JB. I don't appreciate it being demoted to $0 value.

    Surely they cannot just randomly remove participants arbitrarily like this? If they can get away with this, what will prevent them from adding Coles or Woolworths or Amazon next times for a few hours, posting it on social media, waiting for people to stock up, then promptly removing those retailers after that?

      the Ultimate Team asked me to pop onto this thread and confirm that you are correct that the card may only be used to purchase goods or services at the participating retailers featured on the Card. In this case that is not Jb Hi Fi or The Good Guys

        I've already sent a complaint/contact through to the Ultimate Gift cards team.
        Im sure they "could" stick to their terms and conditions - but at the time of purchase JBHiFi was clearly displayed on the website as a participating retailer, and purchase was done in good faith. Seems to me like a bit of a bait and switch exercise that the governing bodies (ACCC or whomever) will not take too kindly too..

        If the Ultimate Team don't want a massive issue with multiple ACCC and other complaints, I would suggest they allow for refunding of all orders placed as a sign of good faith.

    wouldn’t it be more of a headache for their team to deal with accc/fair trading complaints, credit card chargebacks - than to simply re-enable purchases at jb/tgg for all baby/thanks cards issued before those stores were pulled
