Seemingly an all time low for the 2022 Samsung 9.1.4ch Soundbar HW-Q930B/XY. Not quite as capable as the flagship Q990B but more than capable as per numerous reviews including rtings (https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/reviews/samsung/hw-q930b#pag…).

Not sure if you can stack with the sign up extra $50 off code(?). Please also note there seems to be a 3 week wait on delivery. Newbie poster, pls be gentle. Cheers.

      Awesome deal.

      There is a new generation of soundbars on the horizon that will likely be at higher price points with a little refinement of existing tech (more wireless sub and satellite speakers). Expect a lot of deals over the next two months.

      This model, though not the Q990B, will give close to the performance at two thirds the price all in a smaller form factor (great if you have a medium to smaller room).

    Have this unit, highly recommend for the price. Compared to a friend's Q990B and the bass is punchier on the bigger unit but perfectly adequate on the Q930 as well.

    There is only ~$200 difference with the q990b so probably not the best deal if you can afford the higher one

    Does anyone know if samsung have a 30day refund policy on soundbars like they do woth mobiles? Got the HW-Q800B deal any id like to return it and get this instead.

      If it is from Samsung online store, be ready for months and months of email follow ups. One of the worst teams, when it comes to returns and refund. YMMV.

    How many channels this one has without using the satellites? Would that be equivalent to Q900A (7.1.2) or the Q800B (5.1.2)?

      It would be 9.1.0, as it is a 9.1.4 with the rear satellites (SL/SR front and upwards). It would greatly diminish the surround effect (to next to nothing) in my opinion without the rears.

      Actually I think it will be 7.1.2. the last number denotes upward firing speakers and the firat number is surround or main speakers. The main bar has 2 upward firing speakers and the 2 surround speakers also have 2. So removing the rear speakers you lose 2 main speakers and 2 upward firing speakers, leaving you with 7.1.2

        the Q990B = Q900A (7.1.2) + SWA-???? rears (4.0.2)
