Wow of mushrooms were this cheap, I'd be making mushroom pie, mushroom soup, musroom lasagne, grilled mushroom, mushroom pasta…

You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, kabobs, creole, gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. That - that’s about it.
You forgot there's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich.
Now that - that’s about it.
you can dry them as well. after drying put them in bowl of water and they are as good as new

Got the mushroom, but where to get the magic. If only magic shops sold real magic. Then you could mix the two in a cauldron and chant something to get magic mushy rooms.

yes. its hard to get mushrooms for anything decent from supermarkets. god forbid you want something other than portobello as well

I prefer to freshen ass in the shower with soapy water, rinse and towel dry before tasting it.

Not the right kind of mushroom, though!
So I've just chopped 4kg of mushrooms. They were all looking good, none needed to be chucked out. While I wouldn't describe them as super fresh they were showing maybe a day or two of age. If you are in the market for some mushrooms I give them the value award. 4.5 Stars.
Note: they were not at the table to play Far Cry at high frame rates.
I wish we could buy cheap Psilocybin containing mushrooms. Psilocybin is supposed to be beneficial for depressiona nd anxierty but it bet it will never be legalized in the Australian nanny state. Medical marijuana may be available but it is so ridiculously expensive ($300/month) that it is effectively illegal for the poor ( https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-02-20/medicinal-cannabis-co… ). Marijuana is easy to grow; it should be as cheap as sunflower seed oil.
Cost is probably not the prohibitive factor with psilocybin as it is not used as a daily medication for major depression. My understanding is that it is taken in a safe environment with supportive psychotherapy weeks to months and even years between doses with improvements in mood lasting beyond active treatment time. i.e. the evidence is for psilocybin assisted psychotherapy rather than just taking psilocybin. Simply legalising it probably wouldn’t be helpful. Allowing therapeutic use with credentialed psychotherapists would probably be a good starting point in Australia. I do believe there are people offering this type of therapy, but as it’s not legal it’s not going to be registered psychiatrists and psychologists, so there’s a risk that the nature of the psychotherapy could be inappropriate or even harmful.
I do agree though that regulation will make it more expensive - Australia has a low appetite for risk with all medications and psychotropics, that’s unlikely to change.
