    I noticed some items in the cart have "Sale 11.11" starts in 2 days x hours.

    Others have the spend ~49 get 7 off or something like that.

    Anyway, 11.11 starting in 2 days…wtf?

      • +3

        I looked back at my previous years and my orders were on the 11th & 12th and 13th.

        I also remember setting an alarm around 7pm AEDT on the 11th so I could stack coupons before they got used up.

        This would be my 7th AE Singles Day, and I don't ever recall it starting on the 1st….even some sites are saying this years on starts on the 1st till 12th, but previous years it was the 11,12 & 13.

        Not complaining, I've got lots in my cart and starting the 'sale' earlier is fine by me.

    • I'm glad that the sale period is over an extended period of time.

      I find it, too much pressure to buy everything within the same day or so.

      I waste more time within a day, than to spread out that time, over several days…haha

    Here we go again. Will probably randomly work or not work, as usual.

  • These should stack with Spend & Save right?

    Still single

      You get all the bargains

    • Single & in capslockdown?

      • yes :{

        • Better look for Ms Janitor outside china.

    Keep in mind that the aud is currently weak against the usd ):

    • +4

      Weak is putting it nicely.

      We are almost at a point where you double the published USD price after allowing for GST and 3% fee (if applicable).

      Eg USD$10 Product

      USD$10/0.61 = AUD$16.39

      AUD$16.39 + $1.64 GST = AUD$18.03

      AUD$18.58 if you pay with a card that charges the 3% fee.

      • Why not pay in AUD?

        • +1

          All Ali prices are set in USD , selecting another currency just converts the currency from USD, the end price is the same either way unfortunately.

          All we can do is wait for AUD to pickup steam again, but that won't be for a while given the US Fed Reserve keeps raising cash rates. :(

          • +1

            @ash2000: So there's still a 3% surcharge on AUD?

            • +1

              @Void:

              So there's still a 3% surcharge on AUD?

              Yes, unfortunately (assuming you don't have a card that waives this fee).

              The same thing happens with eBay Plus memberships. They advertise AUD$49.95, but because it's processed by a foreign institution you're also hit with 3% foreign transaction fee.

          • @ash2000: so, it's a matter of figuring out if AliEx's exchange rate is better than PayPal's right ?

            I mean,
            we pay a converted-to-AUD price via Paypal,
            or
            we pay the USD price via PayPal (which then converts it to AUD).

              @whyisave:

              so, it's a matter of figuring out if AliEx's exchange rate is better than PayPal's right ?

              Indeed. I just checked Ali's rate and it's $0.6373 (Versus Paypal's $0.6195 and Australian Banks' $0.6144), so well worth keeping it on AUD.

              • @ash2000: Just get a card that doesn't pay a forex fee? mastercard and visa exchange rates are usually best.

    Can someone please clarify whether the coupon codes are "promotion codes" that you can put in at the checkout stage or whether they have to be obtained the coupon centre?

    I've tried looking into my AliExpress coupon centre and I don't see these coupons available.

    • +1

      Promotion codes you enter in the code box. You can stack with the seller coupons.

  • Will this discount keep applying for separate orders? I think in the last they have?

  • Any expiry time?

  • +1

    "This code can't be used in combination with other offers" - tried with the spend and save, no other store coupons or coins applied.

    • +1

      Same, despite a million people reminding us “you can stack with store coupons” etc

      • So it's being a bit sensitive, some browser it doesn't show. In the AliExpress app it should show. Through cashrewards app it will not show.

        • Its not about the promo code box showing up, but when entering it at checkout on the app, it gives that message

  • aliexpress website is very slow atm

  • Has there been any word on Shopback / Cashreward offers?

    • Mine tracked, CR.It's a better rate 5% vs 4.5%.

      No idea if it will be honored, I used a coupon, don't care really. Bonus if it tracks, but I think if I remember correctly previous ones were honored.

      • Tightarse, pls bring back the 11.1% cashback.

        • +3

          I message GYB he said nothing planned from shopback

  • noob here but can anyone kind to suggest a good air duster? Thanks

  • Sorry, all codes have now been claimed.

    • which one works here

    • +1

      11DSale3 still works.

      11DSale7 said I didn't meet the minimum spend even though I did (before shipping + GST and after other discounts)

      • Happened to me as well and with other codes as well even though meeting the minimum. Have to play around with the cart and bump up the amount a bit and then the codes worked.

  • used 11DSale3, thanks
