Yes, you can redeem them on both stores (Apple Store & Apple Education Store).

Keep in mind that you can only redeem 8 Apple gift cards in one online transaction, but there are ways around this limit:

      If the 20-500 variable cards aren't a part of the offer why would they post the sticker just above the cards in woolies . Moroever rewards on fb mentioned points will be added manually after 14 days. For what I understand all cards are a part of the offer

    I bought 2k in one transaction because last time this deal was around, I did 2k and got the points instantly. This time nothing showed up. But I didn’t get any normal points for the gift cards which I suppose is a good sign that I’ll get the 20X points in the next 14 days

    Bought 2 x $200 on Thursday and got the points instantly.

    Then went and bought 3 x $500 showing 0 points should’ve checked this thread again.

    Tick Tock hopefully it’s less then 2 weeks.

    Spent 1hr on the phone today.

    The support person said the variable denomination cards have to be manually added by head office and will take 14days. Stone age primitive system!

    This explains why my $100 fixed denomination card is added already, but not the $500 ones.

      • It all sounds very random. I bought my first ever Apple GCs on the weekend (all $100 cards) and points appeared instantly.

        I’d boosted in the EDR app few days earlier, used self-checkout, cards activated by attendant. The only glitch I had was payment for my shop via the app failed, so I just had to pay directly with my CC—at least it didn’t mess up the points recognition.

        Hopefully they’ll fix up the system before the next round, assuming there is one.

    If anyone bought variable cards on the first couple of days and can update if the points arrived after 14 days? Would hate to miss out on Black Friday sales etc :’(

      Purchased just after 7am on 2/11/22. Hope they don't allocate points in reverse order to purchasing.

  • I recommend putting them in save for Christmas for extra security. When you are ready at the checkout change it to dollars , then change back to save for Christmas.

    My reward dollars were stolen just before Easter. And it’s been in the news lately that others have had theirs stolen

    I purchased $2,500 in cards at one store and then another $400 at another store on the same day. The cashier put the 5 * $500 cards in individual transactions as it was not letting her put more than $1,000 through. I got 50,000 points manually credited today, which seems to relate to the $2,500.

    Technically i should have only gotten 10,000 points but i would have fought it if that's all they gave me because the cashier made the call to split them, not me.

    Not sure if i will chase the other 8,000 points for the $400 as it is against the terms and conditions, but I guess I could make story. I do need to chase them up for some points for another promotion which are overdue so maybe will just start innocently asking about them anyway when i follow up the other points.

    I only received manual credit for my 1st transaction (of 3 transactions) from the same day, plus credit from another transaction the next day, as the Woolies staff split my first purchase into 3x transactions of $500 each not knowing about the terms and conditions of max one transaction per day.
    Called up asking for the 2nd and 3rd transactions to be credited, and they happily credited it as "goodwill rewards" straight away as they acknowledge that some staff have max limits.
    Had to wait on hold for 30 mins, but great service and outcome.

  • I think Woolies updated how you can spend the dollars if you banked it for Xmas.

    In the everyday rewards app you now need to unlock the banked dollars in the app before you can spend them in store.

        I am in the same boat, have got 1 lot back, but waiting on 2 more.
        Note that the T & C states 14 business days, so 3 weeks.

          Yeah I called them up today and got told it’s 14 business days. The agent said he will monitor my account till 23rd Nov and if the points are not added then he will add manually.

            @ashtdp: Had to call up after missing 26k worth of points from 1,2,4 Nov.
            Took 45 mins but finally got it done. Got credit 13 x 2k "goodwill credit"
            Not sure if I will bother with EDR for AGC next time…

    Mine didn't get credited as well, it was only 2 cards of $100 each, not variable. My purchase date was 2/11. I called them on phone, 45 minutes on line and they said will be added in next 48 hours.

    I asked the rep, i always relied on rewards card to do the job by itself and no worrying about whether points are getting added or not, she mentioned it happened because there was a system outage on 2nd and 3rd. And some/most booster points didn't go through, so they had to do them manually. i was like wouldn't you do it upfront rather than waiting on customer to call, if you know there was a system outage because now it is beyond 14 business days. The rep didn't care, our couldn't care less.

    Anyway, something for you all to know.. 2nd and 3rd purchases might not have made it in your rewards balances.

  • Finally got mine all cleared.
    After waiting 45min on phone, the lovely person on the phone helped credit it within 10mins.
    Long story short - on day of 2nd Nov, I already had $1500 purchased by 8:40am.
    At my local woolies, the checkout person said it must be done in 3 transactions of $500 each.
    I also saw later in the day that they had the BOOSTER for the gift cards which was NOT there when I made the purchase in the morning.

    14 days later, still nothing in my account so I submitted 3 enquiries based on the 3 receipts.
    a few days later, I got 10k points ($50) credited but still missing 20k points for the other two cards.

    Finally called up today as I am off work on sick leave so what better to do than to have hold music on for 45mins…
