Yes yes, you are the product etc.

I need it to unblock Kato whilst travelling.

Note that in my experience:

CyberGhost can not unblock Kayo.

Surfshark can not get you an Argentine location for YouTube that works for the Premium deal.

Confirming that PureVPN can unlock Kayo 💪🏾.

My experience was that Surfshark would not unblock Kayo, not from Thailand anyway. In case that helps. Otherwise I found them excellent.

Just keep cycling through their Aus servers (SYD, BRIS, MEL, ADL, PER) mate (and make sure to refresh the webpage every time you do). Give it 20-30 seconds to buffer a live stream and you're good to go.

Also I've found the browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc) works a lot more reliably at unblocking Kayo, in my experience. I'm based outside Aus and have been watching Kayo this way for the past 3 months.

      • That's interesting, thanks so much for the tip 🙏👍

  • PIA for existing users too to top up subscription?

EDIT: Also, does it include 90% cashback on dedicated IP?

    • No only for new user.

I don't know if it covers dedicated IP either. But there is a money back guarantee, so I might give it a shot.

      • Just saw:

        Notes
Excludes taxes, fees or additional extras
Cashback is only valid for New Private Internet Access Customers

Yes yes, you are the product etc.

    😂

  • Any of these have reliable Indian servers? used to watch UFC PPV events on Sony Liv with NordVPN. But they removed their Indian servers after Indian government changed their privacy laws. PureVPN indian server doesnt unblock Sony Liv.

    • Strange! On PureVPN website it says SonyLIV is unblocked.

    • Not sure about the sonyliv, but I watch Disney Hotstar using PIA (Proxy Indian server through somewhere in Indonesia) with an issue.

    • I have PureVPN and I used it to try to get Sony Liv also. The PureVPN part worked fine, I was able to access SonyLiv but I could not activate SonyLiv due to not having an Indian phone number. I tried using those free Indian phone numbers to SMS me the SonyLiv activation code but it would always come in after the 2 minute time limit. May I ask how you activated your account? And do you get to watch UFC PPV events live? Do you get access to old UFC PPV's?
BTW I just did an Ookla speed test using PureVPN and the results were (Ping 334, Download Mbps 44.23, Upload Mbps 17.94 Bangalore, Tata Teleservices Limited, Datacamp Limited), I also have Kaspersky Secure VPN and got (Ping 278, Download Mbps 52.34, Upload Mbps 18.26, Bangalore, DigitalOcean).
Though as I'm on an Optus 50/20 Mbps plan I was surprised to see Download Mbps 52.34 from the Kaspersky test. Finally these tests would suggest that everything is fine with speed when connecting to an Indian server but in reality connection is really slow, sometimes taking 15+ seconds to download a page, particularly with PureVPN. I've heard that VPN's can detect when connecting to a speed test website and will speed up their down/up speeds to improve their test results. But when I connect to Youtube in India on PureVPN or Kaspersky VPN the videos play fine on 1080p.

      • Can PureVPN bypass netflix Geo-locked?

        • @vash12 Do you mean Netflix U.S? I can check If you explain to me how to check, but I don't use Netflix U.S so I can't comment.

        • Yep.

  • PureVPN seems to take me to the page for only a year, rather than the 2 year/2 month thing?

    Anyone else?

    • Same

Yes, but then click on their logo… Then on the Hamburger menu… you can then click on pricing and access 2yrs plus three months.

        Confirming I was tracked.

        🤟🏽

  • OK which is the best VPN provider out of these lot?

    • I've had no complaints with surfshark so I'm going with them again. Comparison reviews put them as the fastest speeds against the other main ones including their owner NordVPN.

I'm using for convenience and streaming though; not hardcore privacy.

  • Anyone have any experience with VPNs working with Optus sport?

When I go to this PureVPN page it sates that you can get PureVPN 24 months for US$1.99 per month + 3 months free, but if you wait a little while then move the cursor to the back button (on Firefox within Windows) then an even better deal pops up 5 years for US$1.49 per month.
PureVPN tend to offer good 11/11 (11th Nov) deals so I usually wait until then. I've been with PureVPN for 10 years now and can't complain. It's not as fast as my Kaspersky VPN but Kaspersky costs a lot more.

    • +1

Or go to this link to access the 5 years offer.

      • Oh nice find, I'll keep an eye on it. PureVPN usually have black friday/cyber Monday sales which come up next week, so as my plan is about to run out I might buy this one if no better deal pops up.

      • thanks, signed up to this last night. tracked 100% CB

  • Hey Op. Are these deals still on or have they expired?

    • Expired. 😞. They come around quite regularly tho.

      • All good. Thanks for updating. Not sure if I should wait or jump on the 96% off one that's on now..

        • I've used Nord in the past and it was very good.
