Just for anyone wanting to buy - I highly recommend this unit.

I have three turntables, and this is my favourite one.

    • I'm curious, why do you have three turntables? Is it just a enthusiast thing where you collect different types?

I have a Sony Bluetooth one in my bedroom for my Bluetooth speakers in there, one for vinyl transfer/monitoring to PC with studio monitors in the office, and one (this one/main one) in my living room HiFi setup. CBF moving things. I waste too much money for conveniences.

I have a Sony Bluetooth one in my bedroom for my Bluetooth speakers in there

Doesn't a turntable to bluetooth speakers defeat the purpose of an analogue system?

          • @ONEMariachi: I absolutely agree, and it doesn't get much use.

But sadly; this is how most people are playing their vinyl these days, if they even do play it at all.

    • I am total noob on this and miss wanna get a good turntable, this or LP120?

        This

        This.

        This.

Audio Technica did a great job with the LP60 for an entry/dip into vinyl; however I wouldn't even consider an LP120 the same ballpark as this.

    • I also have this TT in white. I've not owned any others but I've not been disappointed and if I was purchasing at the same price point, I'd buy it again.

I ❤ my Pro-Ject turntable. It's survived two house moves and unsupervised usage by a clumsy 10yo. IMHO, Pro-Ject churn out some great quality products for the modest asking price.

  • Can someone recommend a cheap n good pre-amp for an old turntable? Cheers

  • Great turntable.

Not a fan of Ortofon carts; if you're due, trial a Shure; but there's nothing wrong with them either.

    Nice deal.

I am extremely tempted as have been in the market for a turntable, however I just can't bring myself to buy gloss black, it's too much of a nightmare to live with on most things. If the walnut or white were on sale I'd likely jump on it.

  • How does this compare to the PRO-JECT PRIMARY E?

    • This is a few models higher than the Primary E and has the phono stage built in

  • Would pick an Audio Technica over this entry level deck
