  • Where does it say you buy one get one free? The way I see it, you get 25 disks for the half price amount of $12.47?

  • The quality of TDK has dropped ever since Imation bought them out.

  • I think it is $25 for 50, which isn't that great. And considering that it's rebranded imation I would steer well clear of it. All of the Imation cds I have used turned yellow on the top then died within months.

    • no its not. did you read what i wrote. guys there is a promotion on at dicksmith. BUY ONE GET ONE FREE TDK DVDS AND CDS. OKAY. AS I SAID I SAW IT IN THE MX. Happy Now? 12.50 for 50.

      • I added 2 lots of 25 disks then went to checkout and it was trying to charge me $25 plus postage. How exactly does one go about getting "one free"?

Maybe it's an instore promo only, because it's certain not buy one get one free online.

        • i forgot to write that it is IN STORE ONLY!. AND THIS WEEKEND ONLY. Sorry

          • @pspman: Well you shouldn;t have put the link to the online store up or claimed to have found it on the website.

      • why get narccy at people because you gave the wrong information making people confused. If you say you found it on dick smiths website and leave a link to it of course people are going to look on there first.

negging for misinformation and then being an ass when people query it nicely.

  • The deal is you buy one and get one of same price free! So if you buy 50 disks for say 27.00 you get another for same price free. That works out to 13.50 for 50 disks. Not Bad!

  • TDK is not good quality media!
This is the same CMC MAG AM3 junk that you can easily buy from MSY under the LG, Melody or Intact etc (although sometimes Intact sells Prodisc or if you are lucky, MCC coded discs) brands for $12-15 for 50 full inkjet printable discs.

Stick with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

    • Thanks for that. I use discs to store family videos and pictures and had not seen the earlier discussion :)

  • I agree with the above post. TDK disks used to be good but I started experiencing problems. Thinking that I bought a dodgy batch I bought another and still had poor results. I thought maybe my burner was on the blink I bought a new one of those but no difference.

Then I changed to Verbatim and not one problem in more than 3 years.

    TDK are crapola.

    • I second that. You can't just accept things on face value in the world of electronics and accessories. No way can I condone this.

  • Just got 200 disks for $39.00, not complaining.

  • Just got 150 for $37.50, they had 200 left in total but I didn't need 200 :)

To some_one_some_where above me, are you sure you got 200 for $39? That doesn't add up right, you confuse them and score an even better deal? I know my guys were confused as hell, I almost got more than I was supposed to for no extra cost :)
